Description

Forest's Victorian Greenhouse is the perfect solution if you're looking for a compact traditionally designed wall garden, particularly if have limited outside space.

Easily placed anywhere in your garden, this beautiful Victorian-style greenhouse can be placed against a wall or, due to the included backing panel, can be situated freestanding wherever space permits.

The double doors offer easy access and can be closed with the integral latch. As you open the doors and look inside, you'll find two lots of shelving to accommodate seed trays, pots and garden tools, and two roof vents, ideal for adding ventilation during hot weather.

Built from pressure treated timber and with a 15-year anti-rot guarantee, this practical as well as the attractively designed greenhouse will allow you to grow a wide variety of plants, sow seeds earlier in the season, and will provide protection for all your plants and tools throughout the year.

These AutoVent openers easily screw into the roof vents on your Victorian Tall Wall Greenhouse and will automatically open and close the roof vent when the temperature outside reaches a certain temperature. Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 20 - 30 working days (Please allow a few more days for parts of Scotland) but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.

Installation
If you have purchased an installation service with us, available on selected Forest branded sheds, structures and buildings then this is completed after successful delivery of the product and is generally completed with 2 - 4 weeks following. After successful delivery, you will be contacted directly by the installers to book in an installation date. Please ensure that you have checked the delivery for all components and keep in a safe, dry place until the installation occurs.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.

Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.

A Perfect Fit

Delivery to southern Scotland took around ten days (including Easter weekend) from the initial order. (At the time the website showed 3+ days delivery for Scotland) I spoke to the Garden Site team on the phone for a delivery update. They were friendly, efficient and called back with an update as promised. When it eventually arrived, it was well packaged and the Streamline driver was helpful whilst offloading. The greenhouse went together nicely and fitted onto the back of our existing arbour perfectly. As mentioned in other reviews, we were missing a few 25mm & 60mm screws - and I agree the blue film on the glazing is a major pain to remove, especially on the inside of the opening roof-lights. The general fit and precision of the components was good and the interior flexibility provided by the hinged shelves is extremely useful. Overall I'm delighted.

Victorian Greenhouse

Overall a great little greenhouse and perfect for what we required. Went together ok and again as previous customers experienced we had a few screws and one hinge missing!! Instructions could have been a bit clearer but we are very pleased with the end result.

pretty good

Once built this greenhouse is good and looks good too. It does take a while to build and that would be a problem if the instructions were a little clearer. I discovered we were some 25mm screws missing so had to go and buy some to finish off the build. Biggest issue for me was taking the blue plastic cover off the perspex windows. The clear and the white plastic comes off easily but the blue was a nightmare as it breaks up as you try and peel a corner. Environmentally this isn't great as it puts loads of small bit of plastic into the environment. I would ask that this blue covering is reviewed.Overall though I like the greenhouse and the company was easy to deal with.

Ideal small greenhouse for narrow gardens

We are very pleased with the greenhouse. Only a couple of sections were at all damp and these have now dried off. We are not pros and have never even built a shed - only IKEA - but had no difficulty constructing. We recommend, drill, cordless screwdriver, spirit level and small step ladder. Instructions were fine. We sorted all the screws etc first and were only 2 short of 60mm screws - so advise waiting to purchase extra until you have had a count! Everything fitted well, the shelves were a little tight but hold the framework rigid and stable. Our doors and windows fitted well, no need for planing. The polythene window protection comes off easily if you just push the 'glass' in with a finger ahead as you peel it off. to ease it away from the wood. Even worked with the two top side windows where the plastic film runs under the batten support strip of wood. And when complete you will be delighted! It really looks lovely - and lots of shelf space, good ventilation and just right for Victorian Edwardian terrace gardens. Gardensite were the best-price we could find and delivery was extremely quick.

Not built yet, waiting for better weather, but the quality of it is very good, very good with delivery. Can't wait to get growing stuff in it.

Dear Lyndsey Thank you for your question. During humid or cold temperatures acrylic can fog temporarily with condensation but, like all glazing, this will quickly dissipate. Long term, acrylic is a great material for outdoor use as it is highly weather resistant and does not pose the same danger as glass when children are playing nearby.
