Most are constructed from corrosion resistant aluminium with a choice of colour, Swallow are an exception, their 8 x 6 wooden greenhouse is manufactured from Thermowood which is warp and shrink free due to heat treatment.
There are some that have high eaves or a tall ridge that might suit what you are growing best and offer ease of movement, while others have a low threshold and the Eden Burford has a zero threshold so that wheelchairs and wheelbarrows benefit from trouble free access.
Watch out for some features such as an integral base or guttering that might be offered as standard by some brands but optional extras by others, installation may be free or an extra charge that’s added to the price.
Among the most popular accessories are extra vents and louvre windows together with automatic openers, these are so useful when you are away from home and ventilation is an important consideration.
