Description

Add character and style to your garden with the Mercia curved garden arch, boasting an attractive and functional design with a modern round top.

The decorative lattice sides are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly practical as they can be used as trellis to train climbing plants up, such as roses, ivy, or wisteria. This is a great alternative to painting the structure, as the flowers will reward you with their vibrant colours and delectable scents that will bring your garden to life with the passing of the seasons.

With such eye-catching features, this arch would look fabulous positioned on either side of a pathway or more centrally as a focal point that draws people’s attention as they enter the garden.

Crafted from pressure-treated timber that has had high-quality preservatives forced into the wood to create a barrier of protection against insect attack, natural decay and rot, this arch will remain in great condition for many years to come. All you need to worry about is remembering to re-treat it on a yearly basis with a reputable waterproof treatment to ensure longevity.

About Mercia Products

All Mercia garden products are eco-friendly because they're crafted from timber only sourced from forests that are protected by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC). This means that trees are cut down responsibly and many more are replanted in their place. Most Mercia products come with a cosmetic dip treatment, so it is advised to treat your products at least once a year with a preservative in order to protect them and validate the warranty.

About Wooden Products

All Mercia products are hand made, from wood which is a natural product. As much as the crafters try their best to get rid of splinters and rough edges, we can't guarantee that it will be 100% smooth planed. There may be slight imperfections like cracks or splits in the wood that may occur with changes in the weather, these natural characteristics are due to the wood losing moisture during warm and dry seasons, and during exposure to intense sunlight. During colder and wetter seasons the wood will uptake moisture again which will reduce these splits or cracks, This is of no detriment to the product however if you are worried about how the furniture looks cosmetically then we would recommend using a clear decking oil on the furniture but only apply this once the wood has dried out fully.

Unloading Of Your Delivery
Some of our products will arrive on a pallet, some will arrive fully assembled and some part assembled - please see the product description. The delivery driver will have to leave the pallet at the front of the house either on a drive or in a front garden. If you do not have either of these it would be advisable to be in when the driver arrives so that you can unload the pallet and place the product somewhere safe. Disposal of any leftover pallet and/or packaging is the customer's responsibility.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places. It's typically a 7.5-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.

Questions and Answers (1)
Denise Todd Asked:

Dear Team. How should you secure the arch to the ground?

We Replied:

Dear Denise Todd, Thank you for your question. It all depends on where the arch is going. We can recommend the following but it is ultimately down to your individual preference/choice. Post spikes or corner spikes can be used to secure the posts to the ground. The posts can also be concreted into the ground or use post holders that can be screwed into concrete. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind Regards, Gaby
