Maude Asked:
Can I use Gold Label Pond Paint on a pond liner? Will it keep it from leaking? Do you have any suggestions?
We Replied:
Dear Maude
Thank you for your question.
As good as this product is, we would not recommend it for pond liner as the instructions make mention of porous surfaces only such as concrete.
If you know where the leak is you can use our Oase Repair Patch: https://www.gardensite.co.uk/Aquatics/OASE_Pond_Liner_Repair_Patch_180_x_230mm.htm

Joe Lowe Asked:
We built a concrete pond in March with a waterproof concrete render as the final coat. We then painted it with Gold Label Pond Paint in dark grey, when it was warm enough to do so, ie above 10 degrees. The first coat was fine, but the second coat, applied 24 hours later went off on the walls but not off on the shelves. We assumed the temperature had dropped during curing, so we wiped off the goo with cloths before waiting for a definite warm day and applying another coat. This was painted at 16 degrees and temperature didn’t drop below 10 until 8 hours later. This hasn’t gone off either and I am left with the goo again ! All coats were mixed in the pot very well. Can you advise the way forward ? Do I need to remove all existing coats? If so with what? Or do you have a sealer product which can lock in the existing stuff and then apply paint ?
We Replied:
Dear Joe
Thank you for your question.

Ken Asked:
After using this product the pond filled with foam all over the sides and water, how can this be avoided?
We Replied:
Dear Ken
Thank you for your question.
Once the pond is painted the instructions should say to wash down all the sides and base of the pool to combat foam. The pond will now need to be emptied and refilled.
