I have extended my pond, is this sealant suitable to join an existing pic pond liner to a new pic pond liner to save the expense of buying a whole new piece? My pond is not large but a awkward shape and I would be joining about 5ft.

I have a lake with a butyl liner - it has a circumference of about 300 linear metres. I am trying to find an adhesive to mix pebbles with for the top edge of the lake to hide the liner from showing, what would you recommend?
