I want to extend my pond by joining two liners together, and have seen articles which show the use of adhesive and tape to join them. Can you advise if I should use the adhesive for both sides to join and tape or use just one or the other. I've also seen some using a run of tape over the outer seam, is that advised or just precautionary and is the tape double sided?

We have a 6 metre Rill which is constructed from galvanised metal and is in 3 sections. The Rill has recently started to leak following an extensive clean down. Could this product and the Gold seal mastic be used to reseal the Rill?
