Do I need to buy a patch of pond liner? If so, which do you recommend? The OASE Pond Liner Repair Patch 180 x 230mm page doesn't say it needs a sealant so I am a bit confused! We Replied:
Dear John Thank you for your question. You can use the sealant in conjunction with any piece of vinyl or butyl rubber liner you may have left over from the pond's installation. Alternatively you can buy the smallest piece available from Gardensite to use with the sealant. Try and match the patch to the liner i.e. if you have a rubber liner use a rubber patch or PVC if you have PVC. In the case of the OASE patch, one side already has adhesive, so there is no need for any sealant.
