Description
Whether you are growing flowering plants or delicious vegetables, the 6 x 8ft Green Greenhouse from Palram Canopia will prove to be a wonderful investment that's spacious and full of light.
Inside you'll find light flooding through the polycarbonate panels above you and all around the sides, these are very durable, won't crack or discolour. Damaging UV rays are blocked and the roof panels are twin wall to help insulation.
The powder coated frame is hardwearng and corrosion resistant, it's fitted to a galvanized steel base to ensure stability but, if particularly bad weather is forecast, there's an option for an anchoring kit.
Excellent specifications include a roof vent, ideal to control humidity and temperature, and a lockable door which has a useful magnetic catch. To save you time and trouble, an auto opener can be fitted to the vent and there's also a louvre window on the list of options.
A shade to block out intense sunlight, shelving and staging are also available together with a two tier work bench, these will prove essential if you want to sow seed, pot plants and make the most of your highly productive greenhouse.
An irrigation kit could also be a useful accessory to make sure your plants are well watered, perhaps with rainfall that has been collected in a butt from the frame's integral gutter and specially designed gutter heads.
Installing the greenhouse has been made as simple as possible, with Palram Canopia's assembly system the panels just slide in and they are kept solidly in place without the use awkward clips.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 3 - 10 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Good quality greenhouse. Excellent service
We live down a narrow lane with limited access for anything much larger than a transit van so I was a bit worried about delivery but needn't have been. Made a note of this when ordering online and the greenhouse was delivered quickly and safely without any problems. Easy ordering process too The assembly instructions are very detailed and the build was quite straightforward and can be done by a single person as long as they follow the diagrams. Note to those blokes who don't do instructions, you will need them...or at least I did! Managed it myself without any issues although I could have done with a hand in a couple of places as the side and end panels catch the wind are a bit wobbly until the frame is fully bolted together to give it strength The greenhouse looks to be well finished and of good quality although the mechanism for attaching the roof vent does look to be a bit flimsy. it could do with a hinge at the top as it has already come off once in the wind and I wonder how long it will last before breaking the vent opening handle. The only other area for concern is the diagonal supports on the corner posts. These could be a bit more solid although they do seem to do the job just about well enough once everything has been bolted together properly I now look forward to many years of successful growing in my greenhouse

Palram hybrid greenhouse - Customer thoughts
Ordering was straightforward with the online option to change delivery date to a time that works best for the customer - for myself that was to delay of two days. Two packages arrived within the delivery slot and could be handled by one person although the delivery driver offered to place the packages in a location convenient for me if I had wanted. Overall both were well sealed needing just a pair of scissors to get access to the contents. We opted for the green version of the greenhouse which was slightly more expensive than the standard aluminium version and the quality (straight out of the box) was good with a ‘booklet’ of clear instructions on what needed to be done and in which order. Would suggest a second pair of hands just to steady the frame or help with the panels but overall would think this is well within the capabilities of anyone that can wield a screwdriver.

Is there any difference between the Palram Hybrid and Harmony 8 x 6 greenhouses?
We Replied:Dear Steve Thank you for your question. The Harmony range features clear polycarbonate glazing throughout, whereas the Hybrid range features clear polycarbonate glazing along the walls and door and twin-wall opaque polycarbonate glazing on the roof. The twin-wall opaque material still lets in all of the sun's natural heat and light but filters out the harmful UV rays, while is better at insulating due to the twin-wall thickness. Overall, the Hybrid 6 x 8 ft is the slightly better version out of the two due to the improved roof glazing, but at around £50 more expensive than the Harmony 6 x 8 ft.
