Description
Made from the finest high-grade timber suitable for a shed, the Power 8 x 8 ft overlap apex shed is a dependable garden building that will keep your valued possessions dry and safe in a secure and lockable interior.
Chosen for its admirable properties, all of the timber used in the construction of this shed is slow-grown as it is typically stronger and has a higher resistance to warping. All of the panels have been dip-treated in a special formula wood preserver containing a wax additive that allows you to go a whole 365 days without having to re-treat the shed. This water-based formula also has the advantage of allowing you to paint the shed in a colour of your choice should you so wish.
You will find 10mm thick rustic overlap cladding for the walls, which boasts an impressively large overlap of 40mm to reduce timber movement, in turn creating a product that will stand the test of time. Heavy-duty 28mm framing is also present, doubling in thickness when the panels are screwed together and joined, providing double strength at 28 x 56mm.
Further robust construction can be found in the floor and roof, both of which are made from 12mm thick tongue and groove boards (no OSB or chipboard is used). The roof is enhanced thanks to the high-performing waterproof felt that is included, featuring a polyester backing that has been saturated with bitumen (asphalt) - a substance that repels water whilst still allowing the product to breathe.
The ironmongery, including all of the hinges, door pulls and turn buttons, are provided galvanised to minimise oxidisation and reduce the speed of the natural rusting process, thus increasing their longevity whilst also providing a smart look finish.
Lastly, should you opt for windows, these will be made with toughened safety glass as standard, which is approximately 500% more resistant to both shock and heat than ordinary glass. Furthermore, the windows will arrive already internally beaded so that you don't have the hassle of having to fit them yourself.

Inclusive delivery is to mainland areas only and excludes offshore islands, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man/Wight and Guernsey/Jersey. Delivery to these areas will incur an additional delivery charge quoted upon ordering. In all instances please contact us today for a personalised quote.
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver this product range to the Republic of Ireland due to carrier restrictions.
Delivery Period
Our standard delivery timeframe is normally within 3 - 5 working days after your order has been received, and will require the delivery carrier to contact you to book in and confirm the delivery date. If the delivery carrier is unable to contact you via the contact details given, the delivery lead time will naturally be extended.
Please allow an extra few days for parts of Scotland, bank holidays and/or during busy times of the year.
As deliveries can take place anytime between 08:00-18:00, we do not advise organising installation services until you have received your order. We cannot be held liable for consequential losses if this advice is not followed
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on large lorries, in most instances being an 18-tonne lorry. By placing an order with us, you confirm that there is ample access to the delivery location, with no restricted access to your property and space for the lorry to unload your garden building. If the delivery vehicle cannot access the property for the delivery to take place, the order will be placed on hold, and additional charges will be incurred to either re-deliver on a specialist smaller vehicle or for the order to be cancelled and the structure returned, which will also incur a return and cancellation charge.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
