Description
Undoubtedly impressive in so much more than just size, the Power 8 x 16 ft overlap apex shed features a sturdy 10mm thick construction that is lockable to ensure your garden valuables are kept dry, safe and secure at all times.
Only the finest grade of timber suitable for an overlap shed is used in this building's construction in order to create a sturdy and long-lasting product. Sustainably sourced, the timber is slow-grown for its properties relating to increased strength and resistance to warping.
Each individual panel is fully submerged into a tank of special formula wood preserver before being removed and dried. This dip-treatment process protects the materials for up to a year after, meaning you can enjoy your shed for a full 365 days before having to re-treat it. Furthermore, the formula is both water-based and contains a wax additive that allows you to paint the shed in a colour of your choice, should you wish.
10mm thick overlap cladding is used for the wall panels, which boast a particularly large 40mm overlap which has been carefully chosen in an effort to reduce timber movement as happens naturally with the change of seasons.
For the roof and floor, you will find extra thick 12mm tongue and groove boards (containing NO chipboard or OSB) for further rigidity. The roof is resilient against water ingress thanks to the waterproof felt provided which has a polyester backing and is saturated with a protective coating called bitumen (asphalt) that repels water whilst still allowing the product to breathe.
The product is finished beautifully with ironmongery, namely the hinges, door pulls and turn buttons, which are all galvanised to minimise oxidisation by protecting them with a layer of zinc to inhibit rust and other damage.
The windows, if selected, are supplied in toughened safety glass as standard which is typically around 500% more resistant to both heat and shock than ordinary glass. You will also be pleased to find that the windows will arrive already internally beaded, meaning you won't have the hassle of having to fit them yourself.
Lastly, don't forget that this shed is adaptable in configuration - you get the choice of where the doors and windows are positioned, which is great if you have a garden with tricky or limited access restrictions.

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver this product range to the Republic of Ireland due to carrier restrictions.
Delivery Period
Our standard delivery timeframe is normally within 3 - 5 working days after your order has been received, and will require the delivery carrier to contact you to book in and confirm the delivery date. If the delivery carrier is unable to contact you via the contact details given, the delivery lead time will naturally be extended.
Please allow an extra few days for parts of Scotland, bank holidays and/or during busy times of the year.
As deliveries can take place anytime between 08:00-18:00, we do not advise organising installation services until you have received your order. We cannot be held liable for consequential losses if this advice is not followed
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on large lorries, in most instances being an 18-tonne lorry. By placing an order with us, you confirm that there is ample access to the delivery location, with no restricted access to your property and space for the lorry to unload your garden building. If the delivery vehicle cannot access the property for the delivery to take place, the order will be placed on hold, and additional charges will be incurred to either re-deliver on a specialist smaller vehicle or for the order to be cancelled and the structure returned, which will also incur a return and cancellation charge.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
