Description
Presenting the Power 8 x 14 ft overlap apex shed, a spacious outdoor building that will house all of your garden furniture, tools and machinery in a dry, safe and secure interior.
Constructed from the finest grade of timber available for a garden shed, our sustainably-sourced wood is grown slowly over a number of years, meaning it is substantially stronger and has a much higher resistance to warping than the majority of other timbers used in the general production of garden sheds.
To begin, all of the panels are dip treated in an advanced wood preserver that contains a wax additive, allowing you to go a full year before having to re-treat the shed. A further benefit of this special formula preserver is that it is water-based, meaning you can apply a paint of your choice should you wish to change the shed's colour.
You will find 10mm thick cladding for the wall panels and an even more impressive overlap of 40mm, chosen carefully to minimise timber movement over time or with the change of seasons. Further stability is achieved by the heavy-duty framing which doubles in strength when the panels are screwed together, providing a 28 x 56mm thick framing.
The floor and roof are 12mm thick tongue and groove for extra rigidity. The roof also comes complete with a polyester-backed waterproof felt that has been saturated in a protective coating called bitumen (asphalt) which repels water whilst concurrently allowing the product to breathe.
You will also find that the ironmongery, including the door pulls, turn buttons and all of the hinges, have been galvanised for your convenience. This helps to minimise oxidisation which, in turn, slows down the natural rusting process by coating them in a protective layer of zinc.
The windows, if selected, will be supplied in toughened safety glass as standard and will arrive already internally beaded, taking away the hassle of having to fit them yourself. The main advantage of toughened glass is that it is approximately 500% more resistant to heat and shock than normal glass.
Lastly, don't forget that this shed can be modified to suit your individual preferences or needs. It is fully adaptable in configuration, meaning you can choose exactly where you would like the doors and windows positioned upon assembly. This makes this shed a great choice for those with smaller gardens with limited access or restricted space.

Delivery Period
Our standard delivery timeframe is normally within 3 - 5 working days after your order has been received, and will require the delivery carrier to contact you to book in and confirm the delivery date. If the delivery carrier is unable to contact you via the contact details given, the delivery lead time will naturally be extended.
Please allow an extra few days for parts of Scotland, bank holidays and/or during busy times of the year.
As deliveries can take place anytime between 08:00-18:00, we do not advise organising installation services until you have received your order. We cannot be held liable for consequential losses if this advice is not followed
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on large lorries, in most instances being an 18-tonne lorry. By placing an order with us, you confirm that there is ample access to the delivery location, with no restricted access to your property and space for the lorry to unload your garden building. If the delivery vehicle cannot access the property for the delivery to take place, the order will be placed on hold, and additional charges will be incurred to either re-deliver on a specialist smaller vehicle or for the order to be cancelled and the structure returned, which will also incur a return and cancellation charge.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
