Good greenhouse-dreadful instructions!
Instructions were poorly printed, basic and vague. Confusing as parts were sent for ordinary glass and we had toughened. Good job my husband is handy . Greenhouse is great though and great value. Perhaps learn some lessons from Ikea's instuctions which are clear .

Delightful Greenhouse
I can't wait to start growing vegetables in my new greenhouse, the green colour looks wonderful. Service was really good, emailed me back quickly with a couple of queries. I recomment GardenSite.
What is the best method of fixing a greenhouse base? Mine will be standing on existing stone flags.
We Replied:Dear Peter Thank you for your question. You do not need to fix the base to the stone flags as the weight of the glass is sufficient to hold the greenhouse in place, unless your greenhouse is sited in a very exposed area. In this instance you can drill the inside lip of the base and the concrete and put in expanding bolts. These are not supplied as standard though. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Robert Hall
Saturday 15th, March, 2014What is the greenhouse base made from? Does it need to be placed on concrete or will compacted soil be sufficient?
We Replied:Dear Pam Thank you for your question. The base plinth is made from galvanized steel and comes with spikes which can be used to secure the greenhouse to the ground such as gravel, compacted soil or grass. Alternatively, the spikes can be removed from the base plinth and it can be placed on a hard standing surface such as concrete, patio or decking. Once the base plinth is in position, the greenhouse itself is then installed on top. It will be fine to place on compacted soil as long as the area is flat and level, and you can use the spikes to secure it into the ground. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards, Andy
Wednesday 24th, April, 2019Are the polycarbonate panels sealed.
We Replied:Dear Clive Bickley, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the polycarbonate panels are not sealed. You could apply a breathable tape should you wish, however, we don’t sell or supply this. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind Regards, Gaby
