Description

The Halls 10ft x 6ft Popular Forest Green Greenhouse offers 25% more working space than the classic 8ft x 6ft version. Affordable and practical, this greenhouse represents great value, you definitely do get more for your money!

There's more than adequate space for beginners and experienced gardeners to grow tomatoes, aubergines, chillies and other crops as well as ornamental plants.

Features include integral gutters, a smooth action sliding door and two opening roof vents to ensure good air circulation. Everything is designed to encourage an easily managed and productive growing environment.

Option 1 > Greenhouse Glass

Three types of glazing are available for your greenhouse. Choose from standard horticultural, long pane toughened or 6mm polycarbonate options which let you customise your greenhouse to suit your needs.

Glass diagram images below are for demonstration of the glazing styles and may differ depending on your chosen greenhouse model.

with Horticultural Glazing (SO8131)

Standard 3mm glass which consists mostly of 2ft by 2ft panes, overlapping each other with the use of clips to hold one above another. This type of glass is traditional and very economical but tends to shatter into shards when smashed, so isn't recommended if you have children or pets.

with Long Pane Toughened Glazing (SO8132)

Long pane Toughened glass is a lot stronger, and more durable than standard Horticultural glass. In the rare event of it shattering, it breaks into safer smaller pieces. It is also neater and needs less maintenance as no overlapping glass means there is no algae build up and no Z clips to fit.

with 4mm TwinWall Polycarbonate Glazing (SO8133)

Polycarbonate is a virtually unbreakable material, better described as being a highly durable, twin-wall, opaque coloured plastic glaze rather than actual glass. This makes it the safest material where children and pets are concerned and the simplest type to install due to the large yet lighter panes. It also refracts the light very well.

Option 2 > Base Plinth?

All greenhouses need to be fitted onto a secure base. This can be achieved by using an official Halls branded metal base plinth to give the greenhouse added strength and height. Alternatively you can build a brick base to fit your greenhouse size if you prefer.

Delivery

Our greenhouse prices include V.A.T. and Delivery anywhere within mainland UK except Highlands and Offshore Islands which will incur a separate delivery charge. We can even deliver to the Channel Isles and arrange the VAT element for you. In all instances please contact us for a personalised quote.

Delivery will usually be made within 21 working days but may be extended during busy months. Any problems relating to the product must be reported within 7 days from receipt of delivery.

Goods are delivered via large lorries which can get to most places (about the size of a dustbin lorry).
Please ensure that access can be made to your delivery address.
Delivery is on a curbside basis only.
If glass has been ordered it is packaged in a crate and is lifted off by either tail lift or pallet truck.
Deliveries are unable to be moved over gravel, grass or up steps and the driver is unable to carry products through homes or gardens.

Trade Up - It's Worth It

If you can get an 8 x 6 greenhouse in your garden why not think about the 10 x 6? it's 25% bigger bit certainly does not cost 25% more. That's exactly what I did and I'm so pleased as it feels so much bigger. Same animal to install, just a bit more work, and I have put together several greenhouses so no hassle either. I would recommend this great value product

Good looking greenhouse

Really pleased with this greenhouse, nice colour, well made, fairly easy to assemble. Decided to install it myself and although it took a while I was pleased with my efforts. I'll be buying some accessories but the standard greenhouse is perfectly ok to grow lots of tomatoes.

Truly beautiful plant producing machine

For a start this (literally) green house looks stunning and will set any garden off. The design is great, it will take one person (engineer by trade!) a day and a half of garden based bliss to assemble. It really does deliver when it comes to plant growing in plug pot; it is worth investing in a water reserve or auto watering facility as the plants can dry out
