The Halls popular 6x6 greenhouse is ideal for those who want 50% more space than the smaller 6x4, but still want a compact size for the garden. Complete with roof vent and fully inclusive of integral gutters and smooth action sliding door.
The Halls popular 6ft x 6ft greenhouse has all the attributes of the compact 6x4 version and is 50% larger in size, but definitely doesn't cost 50% more.
It's a great upgrade and represents fabulous value for money. More space means more tomatoes and salad crops but also room to grow a few ornamental plants as well?

Customisation > Glazing
Three types of glazing are available for your greenhouse. Choose from standard horticultural, long pane toughened or 6mm polycarbonate options which let you customise your greenhouse to suit your needs.
Glass diagram images below are for demonstration of the glazing styles and may differ depending on your chosen greenhouse model.
with Horticultural Glazing (SO0170)
Standard 3mm glass which consists mostly of 2ft by 2ft panes, overlapping each other with the use of clips to hold one above another. This type of glass is traditional and very economical but tends to shatter into shards when smashed, so isn't recommended if you have children or pets.
with Long Pane Toughened Glazing (70936)
Long pane Toughened glass is a lot stronger, and more durable than standard Horticultural glass. In the rare event of it shattering, it breaks into safer smaller pieces. It is also neater and needs less maintenance as no overlapping glass means there is no algae build up and no Z clips to fit.
with 4mm TwinWall Polycarbonate Glazing (SO0206)
Polycarbonate is a virtually unbreakable material, better described as being a highly durable, twin-wall, opaque coloured plastic glaze rather than actual glass. This makes it the safest material where children and pets are concerned and the simplest type to install due to the large yet lighter panes. It also refracts the light very well.
Accessories > Base Plinth
All greenhouses need to be fitted onto a secure base. This can be achieved by using an official Halls branded metal base plinth to give the greenhouse added strength and height. Alternatively you can build a brick base to fit your greenhouse size if you prefer.
Please Note: If you're having your greenhouse installed by the Halls team, you will need to purchase this base along with your greenhouse.

The Ventomatic is an automatic solar-powered window-opener. It's able to open and close a roof vent within a range of 16 - 25 degrees celsius. One Ventomatic will be required per Vent.
Installation Services
We can arrange to have your Halls Greenhouse, plus any other Halls accessories you purchase together.
Available to domestic addresses only (no allotments) within mainland England and Wales, but excludes Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and Offshore Islands. Installation is normally completed within 15 working days from the delivery of your greenhouse.

Delivery Period

Installation Services

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 15 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable. Goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Ordered the greenhouse during lockdown with a delivery time of 25 weeks, only 4 weeks later we got a delivery date which we had to extend due to having building work, but it was delayed for4 weeks which was good for us. Delivered at the time it was quoted to come. We had booked to have the greenhouse put up and Chris was excellent at advice on the site and then putting the greenhouse up, making it look very easy and maybe making us feel like we could have done it (not) really glad we had booked him. Really pleased with overall look and quality of the greenhouse, and even though we had it for late in the growing season managed some nice tomatoes and chillis this year, here is many more years of growing.

When finally built it appears strong and of good quality. Read the instruction manual very carefully as it isn't very clear regarding the building and installing of the door. It could also do with a door handle on the inside. Overall a good buy.

I am pleased with my popular 6x6 ,but the instruction manual is not that clear. Some of the diagrams are just not clear enough on detail. A dedicated manual per model would be much better instead of all models in one with a step step guide.

Halls 6ft x6ft Popular Greenhouse
Delivery was very good, with them calling 30 mins before. The greenhouse and base packages are easily handled, but the glass crate (toughened glas ordered) was very heavy. Could they be sent as two crates?) As others have said, the instructions are too minimalist, and should be revised to make assembly clearer. (They could learn a lot by looking at how eg IKEA do instructions!).

We Replied:Dear Jennifer Thank you for your question. We're currently giving away the base frame accessory for free with this range, this has spikes on the base that can be driven into grass or gravel to hold the greenhouse in place as long as the grass area is compacted and not prone to flooding. Alternatively, you could choose not to use the spikes and place the greenhouse and base frame onto a concrete or slabbed surface instead. What comes with the 'base plinth'? Is it wooden panels and some way of attaching the conservatory to it?
We Replied:Dear James Thank you for your question. The base plinth is a metal perimeter base frame that attaches to the bottom frame of the greenhouse. This provides a more solid base for the greenhouse to be installed on top of and also increases the overall height of the greenhouse. It's supplied with metal spikes, which are optional to use if you wish to have the greenhouse on grass or compacted soil as the spikes then secure the greenhouse to the ground. If the greenhouse is placed on a concrete standing does it need to be anchored?
We Replied:Dear Erica Thank you for your question. We would always recommend anchoring the base to the ground for extra stability. The bottom rim frame on the greenhouse can be drilled through to use anchor bolts to secure the greenhouse to a hardstanding surface such as concrete.
