The Halls popular 6ft x 6ft greenhouse has all the attributes of the compact 6x4 version and is 50% larger in size, but definitely doesn't cost 50% more.

Three types of glazing are available for your greenhouse. Choose from standard horticultural, long pane toughened or 6mm polycarbonate options which let you customise your greenhouse to suit your needs.
Glass diagram images below are for demonstration of the glazing styles and may differ depending on your chosen greenhouse model.
with Horticultural Glazing (SO0170)
Standard 3mm glass which consists mostly of 2ft by 2ft panes, overlapping each other with the use of clips to hold one above another. This type of glass is traditional and very economical but tends to shatter into shards when smashed, so isn't recommended if you have children or pets.

Long pane 3mm toughened glass is a lot stronger, and more durable than standard horticultural glass. In the rare event of it shattering, it breaks into safer smaller pieces. It is also neater and needs less maintenance as no overlapping glass means there is no algae build up and no Z clips to fit.

Polycarbonate is a virtually unbreakable material, better described as being a highly durable, 4mm thick twin-wall, opaque coloured plastic glaze rather than actual glass. This makes it the safest material where children and pets are concerned and the simplest type to install due to the large yet lighter panes. It also refracts the light very well.

All greenhouses need to be fitted onto a secure base. This can be achieved by using an official Halls branded metal base plinth to give the greenhouse added strength and height. Alternatively you can build a brick base to fit your greenhouse size if you prefer.

Installation Services
with Greenhouse Installation
We can arrange to have your Halls Greenhouse, plus any other Halls accessories you purchase together.
Available to domestic addresses only (no allotments) within mainland England. But excludes Wales, Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and Offshore Islands. Installation is normally completed within 6 - 12 weeks after the delivery of your greenhouse.
Note: A base plinth MUST be purchased above for installation services to be valid. The installers will not complete the installation without a matching base plinth. Please find our Halls Installation Terms and Preparation Checklist here.

Delivery Information
Delivery Timeframes & Charges
Delivery is normally within 20 working days (4 weeks) to mainland England and Wales areas.
Delivery is normally within 30 working days (6 weeks) to Scotland and Offshore Isles/Islands.
Delivery is normally within 40 working days (8 weeks) to Northern Ireland due to the extra distance and carriage logistics.
Delivery charges can be found under the “Delivery Services” options above. Unfortunately, delivery to; Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Jersey, Guernsey and Northern Ireland will incur a higher delivery charge due to the additional logistics of sending a greenhouse, and the extra distance required by the delivery carrier.
Unfortunately, we can't ship this product range to the Republic of Ireland.
For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Installation Services
Installation services may be available on some greenhouse products and is limited to domestic addresses only (no allotments) within mainland England and Wales, but excludes Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and Offshore Islands. Installation is normally completed within 6 - 12 weeks after the successful delivery of your greenhouse. The greenhouse will need to be stored in a safe and dry location during the interim period. Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 15 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable. Goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

I bought this greenhouse on price great value took a bit of time to assemble you have to study the instructions very carefully had to turn around a couple of pieces as we fitted them wrong but got there in the end.

Ordered the greenhouse during lockdown with a delivery time of 25 weeks, only 4 weeks later we got a delivery date which we had to extend due to having building work, but it was delayed for4 weeks which was good for us. Delivered at the time it was quoted to come. We had booked to have the greenhouse put up and Chris was excellent at advice on the site and then putting the greenhouse up, making it look very easy and maybe making us feel like we could have done it (not) really glad we had booked him. Really pleased with overall look and quality of the greenhouse, and even though we had it for late in the growing season managed some nice tomatoes and chillis this year, here is many more years of growing.

The whole purchase, delivery and construction by the seller was very good. The installer Dave had a smile was efficient and gave some very good advice. If I purchased again I would probably use toughened glass.

We Replied:Dear Jennifer Thank you for your question. We're currently giving away the base frame accessory for free with this range, this has spikes on the base that can be driven into grass or gravel to hold the greenhouse in place as long as the grass area is compacted and not prone to flooding. Alternatively, you could choose not to use the spikes and place the greenhouse and base frame onto a concrete or slabbed surface instead. What comes with the 'base plinth'? Is it wooden panels and some way of attaching the conservatory to it?
We Replied:Dear James Thank you for your question. The base plinth is a metal perimeter base frame that attaches to the bottom frame of the greenhouse. This provides a more solid base for the greenhouse to be installed on top of and also increases the overall height of the greenhouse. It's supplied with metal spikes, which are optional to use if you wish to have the greenhouse on grass or compacted soil as the spikes then secure the greenhouse to the ground. If the greenhouse is placed on a concrete standing does it need to be anchored?
We Replied:Dear Erica Thank you for your question. We would always recommend anchoring the base to the ground for extra stability. The bottom rim frame on the greenhouse can be drilled through to use anchor bolts to secure the greenhouse to a hardstanding surface such as concrete.
