Monday 10th, March, 2014Has the Horizon Garden Arch got extra length so it can be set in the ground?
We Replied:Dear Brian Thank you for your question. The height shown is the total height of the product. We do not advise burying the legs in concrete as they may rot. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Nathan James Dodd
Sunday 04th, May, 2014I have a path bordered by a low wall on the open side and a tall wall on the other side. The width between the two is 1.5m. I assume the width measurement of this arch at 1.8m is the total width of the top rails - could the arch be tailored to fit the gap of 1.5m?
We Replied:Dear Tony Thank you for your question. That is correct, the total width (top rafters) is 1.8m. The width of the uprights is adjustable however. Maximum internal width is1400mm (4ft 7ins). Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Nathan James Dodd
Tuesday 19th, May, 2015What is the internal width between the legs of this arch?

Saturday 22nd, August, 2015I notice that you say that the arch is designed to be free standing and that the legs shouldn't be buried into the ground as they may rot. How do you avoid the arch falling over in high wind?
We Replied:Dear Rob Thank you for your question. We would recommend using post spikes that bury into the ground. As the posts for this arch are 90x90mm, we would recommend this Forest Post Spike; https://www.gardensite.co.uk/Landscaping/Forest_EasyFit_Fencefast_750x90mm.htm Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Lauren
Tuesday 24th, May, 2016Does the Horizon Arch come pre drilled and with hardware?

Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Lauren
Wednesday 31st, August, 2016You have the depth measurement of 1.4m. Is that the length of the cross rafters or the overall distance between the outside of the feet of each side?
We Replied:Dear Brian Thank you for your question. The 1.3m depth as stated on the product page refers to the maximum distance from front to the back of the arch, which includes the rafter overhang. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Lauren

Tuesday 28th, April, 2020Horizon arch ….. I live by the coast and is very windy. Is it advisable to cement the legs in to the ground , or make a solid foundation and arrange the arch freestanding. Finally can you advise mitre posts.?
We Replied:Dear Les, Thank you for your question. Our recommendation would be to use fencing accessories. We would suggest a bolt grip spike for dirt ground or a bolt grip bolt down for securing into a concrete base. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind Regards, Gaby
