Description

As an icon of eastern culture, the pagoda's style began emerging several centuries ago, spreading throughout east Asia.

It is now established as the most identifiable symbol of the Orient and emblematic of the region. With an intimate association with Buddhism, the buildings housed religious tracts and relics. Largely located near shrines, the word 'pagoda' is derived from the Portuguese for temple.

This Two Tier Pagoda is part of a series of ornaments with an eastern influence, manufactured with great attention to detail in cast stone by skilled craftsmen at Borderstone. The collection includes other pagodas, Buddhas and oriental figures.

Sturdy and durable, it is a somewhat mysterious structure to the western eye and in your garden there would be no greater expression of oriental culture and architecture. The ornament can be used outdoors or indoors.

Ideal if you like your ornament to blend into its surroundings. The gold contrasts with the emerald green colour to bring a touch of imperial majesty to any ornament.

First class item, bought as a present for wife and she loves it. I made a mistake with delivery, forgot to let them know i had changed phone number. Contacted service team via e-mail, to which i received excellent service and help from them, would highly recommend their service and quality.

Great product and great customer service and delivery.

I ordered 3 statues for my garden. A 2 tier pagoda, a wealthy sitting Buddha and a Thai princess. They arrived packed on a single pallet and despite having a very steep driveway, the driver came equipped with an electric powered pallet mover and delivered my items right to my rear garden. The statues are now installed in my new Japanese garden which looks absolutely fabulous. .

Beautiful appearance and Quality

Very good quality and finish. Also very sturdy, but with a nicely decorated and stylish appearance. Very pleased with my purchase. There was a problem with delivery (the delivery Company somehow had an incorrect House Number for me), but this had not originated with the order.
