Borderstone Three Tier Pagoda Garden Ornament

Description

A Three Tier Pagoda will undoubtedly introduce a taste of the Orient into your garden or onto a patio.

Used as a general description for a tiered tower with multiple eaves, the pagoda has a provenance that goes back many generations. The style spread throughout east Asia with diverse forms emerging in different countries.

Most were constructed to have a religious function, notably Buddhist, and housed relics. They tended to attract lightning because of their height, hence the finial that has been referred to as a 'demon arrester'.

Pagodas have become instantly recognisable, an icon of the east. This one is made from very durable cast stone and designed to be displayed outdoors where the weather resistant surface will retain all its fine detail.

Part of a collection of eastern influenced ornaments including Buddhas and oriental figures, the Three Tier Pagoda is designed to bring authenticity into your garden and create interest amongst all those who see and admire it.

Delivery Information

Important Covid-19 Update - Tuesday 12th January 2021

Delivery timeframes have been extended to up to 25 working days due to delays and carrier restrictions during Covid-19.

Fast Free Delivery within Mainland England and Wales.
Delivery to Scotland is inclusive up to and including Glasgow and Edinburgh but not above. Highlands and Islands will incur a separate delivery charge. In some cases we can even deliver outside the mainland e.g. Channel Isles and arrange the VAT element for you. In all instances please contact us today for a personalised quote.

Delivery Period
All Borderstone products are made to order right here in the UK, on an order-by-order basis.

Delivery will typically be made within 5 - 10 working days but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.

Any cancellation of an order after your item has been crafted may incur in cancellation charges.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.

Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location as a "curb-side delivery" service. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Once the delivery has been unloaded from off the driver's van, the customer has 10 minutes in order to unwrap and check the delivery contents for any damages before signing for and accepting a successful delivery. Any damages should be reported to the driver within this time frame, as once the driver has left, any claims for damages may not be successful.

stone pagoda

Obviously the base part is a heavy object. But I did find unpacking it and moving the base extremely difficult. I think customers need to be WELL warned as to just how heavy the base is before trying to move it from the pallet. You do need to be well prepared. Otherwise the finish is spectacular and it is an excellent product!

What a wonderful piece, so well made. Looks really lovely with our other oriental pieces in the garden. We put tea lights in for an evening with friends and they were in awe at how nice it looked.

Perfect for its position

I have an impossible place for a plant to grow at the top of a rockery surrounded by Japanese Acers with a pond at ground level. I ordered the red (more dark brown/red). A bit shiny but it needs to be to be seen. Perfect.

Perfect for my Zen garden

I ordered the Red and Gold coloured Pagoda, this was exactly what I wanted and as described. It makes a perfect addition to my garden and everyone has given lovely comments on it... and it seems to attract lots of colourful birds. Truly delighted and would highly recommend.
