Three types of glazing are available for your greenhouse. Choose from standard horticultural, long pane toughened or 6mm polycarbonate options which let you customise your greenhouse to suit your needs.
Glass diagram images below are for demonstration of the glazing styles and may differ depending on your chosen greenhouse model.
with Horticultural Glazing (SO8131)
Standard 3mm glass which consists mostly of 2ft by 2ft panes, overlapping each other with the use of clips to hold one above another. This type of glass is traditional and very economical but tends to shatter into shards when smashed, so isn't recommended if you have children or pets.

with Long Pane Toughened Glazing (SO8132)
Long pane 3mm toughened glass is a lot stronger, and more durable than standard horticultural glass. In the rare event of it shattering, it breaks into safer smaller pieces. It is also neater and needs less maintenance as no overlapping glass means there is no algae build up and no Z clips to fit.

Polycarbonate is a virtually unbreakable material, better described as being a highly durable, 4mm thick twin-wall, opaque coloured plastic glaze rather than actual glass. This makes it the safest material where children and pets are concerned and the simplest type to install due to the large yet lighter panes. It also refracts the light very well.

All greenhouses need to be fitted onto a secure base. This can be achieved by using an official Halls branded metal base plinth to give the greenhouse added strength and height. Alternatively you can build a brick base to fit your greenhouse size if you prefer.

We can arrange to have your Halls Greenhouse, plus any other Halls accessories you purchase together.
Available to domestic addresses only (no allotments) within mainland England. But excludes Wales, Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and Offshore Islands. Installation is normally completed within 6 - 12 weeks after the delivery of your greenhouse.
Note: A base plinth MUST be purchased above for installation services to be valid. The installers will not complete the installation without a matching base plinth. Please find our Halls Installation Terms and Preparation Checklist here.

Delivery Timeframes & Charges
Delivery is normally within 20 working days (4 weeks) to mainland England and Wales areas.
Delivery is normally within 30 working days (6 weeks) to Scotland and Offshore Isles/Islands.
Delivery is normally within 40 working days (8 weeks) to Northern Ireland due to the extra distance and carriage logistics.
Delivery charges can be found under the “Delivery Services” options above. Unfortunately, delivery to; Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Jersey, Guernsey and Northern Ireland will incur a higher delivery charge due to the additional logistics of sending a greenhouse, and the extra distance required by the delivery carrier.
Unfortunately, we can't ship this product range to the Republic of Ireland.
For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Installation Services
Installation services may be available on some greenhouse products and is limited to domestic addresses only (no allotments) within mainland England and Wales, but excludes Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and Offshore Islands. Installation is normally completed within 6 - 12 weeks after the successful delivery of your greenhouse. The greenhouse will need to be stored in a safe and dry location during the interim period. Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 15 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable. Goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

excellent green house.... 6x10 ft green with toughened glass
We bought the 610 Halls Popular (6ft x 10ft) in green; the metal base supplied also green. The metal base (with no legs) was installed/screwed with stainless steel screw/plastic plugs (10) on a concrete base trench 16cm wide x 20 cm deep. This appears the best way if you want stability. The base metal is profiled but thin. Assembling the greenhouse is like playing with meccano. The delivery driver left the toughened glass package on the pavement and this wood crate weighs 160kgs. The wooden package had to be broken in situ before the packed glass panes carried to the back garden. It took 2 persons (6 hours x 3 days; second week of December) to finish assembly. It cannot be done in one day and avoid wet breezy days Fit all rubber glazing strips before assembly of panels. No rubber strips required below the two roof vent windows. The three glass panels on the door also need rubber glazing strip. We had to request an extra 2 metres of the glazing strip. The instructions are good and the support from Juliana group very helpful. We are very happy with the quality of the greenhouse and the finish. The finished greenhouse is very rigid. The price £568 includes green base and rainwater kit is good value. After doing a DIY installation, the £400 cost from the supplier to have it installed professionally seems reasonable. Do not underestimate the time/effort required to assemble the greenhouse. You do need two persons. A few hours are spent just fitting the glazing strips.

ordered on the Monday delivery was Thursday, Driver was extremely helpful nothing was to much trouble, two of us put together in two days would have been one day but weather was against us. 10x6 greenhouse is well designed and strong, would advise to seal corners of base when putting together with sealant. fantastic product well worth the money.

Love this greenhouse, so glad we chose the green 10 x 6. make sure that you check the base size before construction as it is over 10 x 6. we have installed it over two raised beds as we like to grow into the soil. The staff at gardensite.co.uk are very helpful

husband bought this for me we put it together ok but because of the weather took 2 weekends put rubber glazing on with washing up liquid so much easier husband is a builder so he followed the instructions i was baffled but now its up loving it just need some warm weather and plants
