Description
In a perfectly compact size, the Gabriel Ash 8ft x 6ft classic greenhouse offers a great base for growing your favourite flowers and greens, hand-crafted to order with a host of enviable features.
You'll find no mass-produced greenhouses here, this model is crafted to order in England using only the finest materials and expert crafting styles. Traditional looking, beautifully grained red cedar is imported from Canada and makes up the main frame of the structure, although it's also discreetly enhanced with the use of modern additions for added strength and practical accessories for improved growing.
The red cedar, officially named thuja plicata, is the perfect choice of wood for a garden greenhouse as it contains naturally occurring oils which help to protect it from weathering - ideal suited for our typical rainy UK weather. Cedar is also able to expel moisture very quickly, so doesn't stay wet for long after rain, making it virtually unsusceptible to rot. One of the modern additions integrated into the greenhouse is the metal base plinth, which slightly elevates the structure off the ground, keeping it away from any rain puddles, also protecting it from water ingress, and most importantly, prolonging its already hefty lifespan.
As standard, quality toughened safety glass is used for the glazing, which lets in plenty of sunlight during the day, trapping in the heat for your growing plants. However, if the temperature outside gets too hot, unique vents in the roof ridge automatically open to allow airflow, closing back up again by itself as the temperature cools.

6ft Shelf (SH8003)
3-slat shelf and brackets made from solid western red cedar.

Additional Accessories
Louvre Vent Window (AC1501)
Designed to replace an existing pane of glass in the side of your greenhouse to allow additional ventilation.
Usually placed at the end of the greenhouse, opposite the door, to create airflow from the door to the rear.
Roller Blind Set (BC03)
Each blind has a spring-loaded roller and hard-wearing fabric allowing 60% light transmission.
A single set of blinds covers one side of a 6ft length greenhouse roof, order two sets to cover both sides of the roof.
Cedar Board Panel (BP700)
A cedar board panel designed to easily be swapped out with a lower pane of glass. Used for design preference or to protect the bottom of the greenhouse from lawn mowers etc.
Sold as per single panel, change the Qty to your required amount.
Water Butt Connecting Kit (WB1201)
A kit for connecting your greenhouse guttering to a generic water butt.
Standard Water Butt (WB1001)
A 100-litre capacity plastic water butt along with stand and integral tap.

Installation of Greenhouse
Your greenhouse handmade to order, delivered to your home and fully installed by the Gabriel Ash installer team.

Some optional accessories will unfortunately incur an additional installation charge if installation of the greenhouse has been selected.
Chargeable accessories for installation include: Shelving, Staging, Roller Blinds and Water Butts. Any other accessories not listed will not attract an accessory installation fee and will be inclusive.

Delivery Information

Inclusive Delivery within Mainland England, Wales and Scotland.
Our Gabriel Ash greenhouse range is expertly handmade to order in England after ordering, and so the current crafting and delivery lead-time is: 20 Working Days (1 Month).
Delivery to non-mainland delivery areas such as Scotland and Highlands will incur increased delivery times due to the additional distance.
Additional delivery charges will apply for delivery to; Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Jersey, Guernsey and Northern Ireland.
Unfortunately, we can't ship this product range to the Republic of Ireland.
Installation Services
Installation services may be purchasable on some greenhouse products and is limited to domestic addresses only (no allotments) within mainland England and Wales, but excludes Scotland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and Offshore Islands. Installation is normally completed at the same time as the delivery of your greenhouse and is completed by Gabriel Ash's installer team. Bespoke Made-To-Order Procedure
This product range is handmade to order on an order-by-order basis, therefore is exempt from our usual cancellation and returns policy. Any cancellations after your order has started production may not be able to be cancelled or may be subject to cancellation charges. Although a very rare occurrence, this does not affect any orders that arrive damaged or faulty, whereby our normal terms on receiving a faulty product will apply.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
For delivery-only orders: due to the large nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Delivery drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable. Goods can only be maneuvered on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.
