Internal Filter Media and Foams
Internal aquarium filters work by sitting inside the tank themselves and using their pump to drag the water through their media and back out, they normally have smaller foams and smaller amounts of media. We always advise to stagger changing you filter media so that beneficial bacteria and transfer from new foams onto older foams. This will help to maximise filtration and keep your fish tank looking stunningly clean and clear.
