I have been looking at the attached water feature for a project in Doncaster where the Alzheimer's Society have designed a Dementia Garden which is currently being developed. I was wondering what the cost would be in total for the pump, grid and water bucket and ask if you give any discounts to registered charity or if you would be in a position to donate any items towards the water feature. Please note any organisation will be featured on a plaque in the garden confirming their contribution to the development and construction of the garden which will be used for people with dementia in the Doncaster area.

Thank you for your question.
To clean the bowl we would recommend a fountain cleaner that is safe for animals. I've attached the pump and fountain maintenance sheet to help with cleaning the pump. There is no filter as such for the bird bath as the pump has a filter contained. Rinsing the pump regularly will prolong its life.

You would need a larger pump to achieve this but then the spray would be susceptible to wind with a potential danger of spillage leading to the pump running dry and creating a fault.

Is it possible to install LED lights shining upwards underwater? I would like the wiring to the mains to be hidden, not stringing the wires over the rim of the bowl.

Thank you for your question.
The pump for this water feature is Low Voltage and has a power take-off for lights, meaning the lights can be plugged into the cable just before the pump, so the cable would be hidden.
With this feature, the only way to get lights in the pool is to bring the cable out of the pumphouse under the centre plate/nozzle.

The pump is guaranteed for 12 months, however, in our experience, if maintained correctly, pumps generally last much longer than this. Most pumps have a life expectancy of 5+ years. Should you ever need a replacement pump, we can sort this for you as we stock replacements.
