Tree Creeper Nesting Box

The Tree Creeper is small, lively, bird that can be recognized by its long and slender bill. It's a woodland dweller whose plumage is speckled brown and mainly white below. 

Decorative as well as practical, the screwed and jointed nesting box should be attached to a tree. You'll notice that it has side entrances to replicate the nest that this species would naturally make in a tree bark void.

The box is handmade from slow dried FSC timber, no chemical preservatives are used and there is a silver birch frontispiece. A hinged lid, that slants to deflect rain water, enables you to thoroughly clean the box each year.

Siting: We would recommend siting the box in a secluded location preferably on a mature tree. It be positioned at a height of 1.5-3m and facing between north and south east.
