Description
The Educational Pyramid Insect Hotel is a visually striking and remarkably diverse collection of habitats, designed to attract a huge variety of insects and handmade to the highest standards.
Schools will find the hotel's multiple habitats ideal for the study of insects and bugs, especially as a free key stage II solitary bee lesson plan is included.
Highlights include a bright solar light to attract night time visitors, and these insects will attract feeding bats. There's a drawer with view tubes that will allow students to observe solitary bees, and a butterfly feeding platform where sugar water can be left.
At the base there is a 'litter critter' area designed to attract ground insects including millipedes and woodlice, while the sides have solitary bee nesting places as well as nooks and crannies for other insects and bugs.
For over wintering butterflies and other insects there's three chambers that provide a safe refuge, these can also be removed to observe the hotel's guests.
Beautifully made from FSC timber and recycled plastic, the pyramid contains a free pack of UK native top 10 wildflower mixes and a solitary bee life cycle and identification guide.

Delivery of Wildlife World products to mainland England & Wales is charged at £3.99.
Delivery to Scotland, remote areas such as Scottish Highlands (Scotland and highlands as deemed by the carrier), Isles and Islands will require a custom delivery charge.
Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland or any other country.
