Urban Solitary Bee Nester

Part of a new contemporary range from Wildlife World, the Urban Bee Nester is a complete change from the more rustic versions with which you may be more familiar.

Made from eco friendly modern materials such as Clayplas+ which is 30% recycled plastic, the hardwearing outer shell has dual keyholes for simple fixing either square or as a diamond.

An inner cassette made from FSC timber is removable, and the drilled canes and holes are just the right size for solitary bees but unsurprisingly other insects may choose to over winter in such desirable surroundings.

Don't worry, solitary bees do not swarm and rarely sting. Even better, they are fabulous pollinators and their intriguing lives can be monitored by observing the nester.

Siting: The nester should be hung in a position that is warm and sunny either facing South or South East. The perfect height is between 0.75-1.5m off the ground.
