Description
The Borderstone mill wheel water feature is a representation of this ancient technique, the millstone, which has been re-modeled into an engaging self-contained fountain for the home.
Millstones have been used since neolithic times to grind a variety of grains, nuts, and other food items ready for consumption. They usually consist of a stationary convex stone upon which a smaller concave one rotates.
Solidly made out of cast stone to replicate its powerful inspiration, it will be a sturdy presence wherever located. Flowing water will, however, dilute its monolithic appearance, turning it into a significant decorative piece. The stone mill wheel is an intriguing ornament, full of character that will only be enhanced by natural weathering due to its cast-stone material.

Fast Free Delivery within Mainland England, Wales & Southern Scotland.
Delivery to Scotland is inclusive up to and including Glasgow and Edinburgh but not above. Scottish Highlands (highlands as deemed by the carrier) will incur a separate delivery charge - See full delivery options on the product page.
Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland or any other offshore island.
Delivery Period
All Borderstone products are made to order right here in the UK, on an order-by-order basis.
We aim to dispatch within 5 - 10 Working Days
Larger items including statues may take slightly longer as they are made to order. Timeframes may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Any cancellation of an order after your item has been crafted may incur in cancellation charges.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location as a "curb-side delivery" service. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.
Once the delivery has been unloaded from off the driver's van, the customer has 10 minutes in order to unwrap and check the delivery contents for any damages before signing for and accepting a successful delivery. Any damages should be reported to the driver within this time frame, as once the driver has left, any claims for damages may not be successful.

Does this item come in parts, or is it all one block? I presume there is a drilled hole so that a water pump can be installed.
We Replied:Dear Shirley Thank you for your question. The Mill Wheel fountain consists of : 3 feet that raise the fountain off the floor The fountain bowl The pump housing that allows you to access the pump to alter the flow or maintain it .
