Especially when it can be easily eliminated with a Hozelock Vorton Pond UV Clarifier.
Designed to quickly clear algae from the water when combined with a pump and filter, it is fitted with a 55 watt UVC and can be used in ponds of up to 18500 litres (with fish).
Very easy to install, there are two hosetails which take 20-40mm diameter pipe and 5 metres of cable. Maintenance is simple and it's very easy to change the lamp to ensure maximum effectiveness.
Hozelock Vorton 55 Features:
- 55 watt PLL UV lamp included.
- Maximum pond size of 37000 litres (8140 gallons) with no fish.
- Maximum pond size of 18500 litres (4070 gallons) with fish.
- Maximum flow rate of 9250 litres (2035 gallons) per hour.
