A native American cure for malaria, the foliage and flowers of this plant are now employed as pot pourri. Retaining interest over many weeks, delightful white flowers with a cone centre are borne during summer with the leaves often turn red in the autumn.

Care Instructions:

Plant in still water away from splashing fountains. Lower gradually so the leaves can stretch to the surface within a few days. Remove dead leaves and flowers during the growing season.
