Anglo Acorus Calamus Sweet Flag

Acorus calamus or Sweet flag is available on GardenSite, perfect for a bog garden or pond margin with dark green leaves and a spreading habit.

Sweet Flag is a moisture loving perennial for a pond margin or bog garden. It has sharp dark green leaves, similar to an iris, and will form clumps of foliage with a spreading habit. Traditionally the scented leaves and rhizome are used for fragrances and medicines.

Care Instructions:

Little maintenance is required. Trim just above the water surface after foliage has died back in Autumn to tidy leaving a little material to protect new shoots.
