Description

At practically 6ft high, the Europa Kyoto Fence Panel from Forest will form a very effective and attractive garden boundary.

With some fences you can feel restricted and hemmed in with the garden appearing smaller than it really is. However the slatted top of the Kyoto fence panel mitigates this effect and is a very light contemporary design. That's not to say it lacks durability as the pressure treated timber comes with a 15 year guarantee.

1.8m Kyoto Fence Panel Features:

  • Contemporary design
  • Pressure treated
  • Planed timber panels
  • Integrated trellis top
  • 15 year guarantee

6x6 Kyoto Dimensions:

  • Height: 180cm (5ft 11ins)
  • Width: 180cm (5ft 11ins)
  • Depth: 4cm (2ins)

We also sell the: Kyoto Fence Panel: 120cm (4ft) x 180cm (6ft)

Fence panels

These panels are not quite as good and smooth wood as I expected and one or two of the joints needed a little attention , we are in the process of painting before putting them up , but they are good value .

Questions and Answers (6)

Sue Lucas Asked:

Does the Forest Kyoto fencing allow air to pass through the offset slats to cut down on wind resistance?

We Replied:

Dear Sue Thank you for your question. Yes, it does allow air to pass through to reduce wind resistance. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Nathan James Dodd

Tim Asked:

You say the wind can pass through the slats - does this refer just to the trellis part at the top or are there slight gaps in the main body of the panel?

We Replied:

Dear Tim Thank you for your question. The wind can pass through the panels as the strips are not opposite on each side. Although it appears a solid fence the air can circulate through the gap in the panels above and below each strip. I hope that make sense. If this is not ideal you might prefer: /Garden_Structures/Louvre_Fence_Panel_by_Grange.htm Kind regards Nathan James Dodd

Kristin Asked:

Do you offer a fence installation service? We are interested in the Forest Europa Kyoto Fence Panels but would need assistance with putting them into our garden.

We Replied:

Dear Kristin Thank you for your question. We don't have a list of national fence installers I'm afraid, but you should be able to find someone locally. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Nathan James Dodd

Kishan Shapriya Asked:

Can the Kyoto panel work as slot in panels to concrete posts?

We Replied:

Dear Kishan Thank you for your question. The Kyoto Panels do work as a slot in panel however they would be unsuitable to use with concrete posts as the panels would need to be screwed into the posts. Alternatively, we recommend using the Forest range Ultima Post; /Landscaping/8ft_Forest_Fence_Posts.htm Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Lauren Bilboe

Andy Smith Asked:

How much of the 1.8m panel is the trellis top section? How many cms?

We Replied:

Dear Andy Thank you for your question. The “trellis” section on this panel is 34.7cms deep. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Nathan James Dodd

Fiona Asked:

Will I need to buy gravel boards with this fencing?

We Replied:

Dear Fiona Thank you for your question. You would not necessarily have to purchase a gravel board. However, if you wish to raise your fence panels from the ground then a gravel board would be a good solution. Although these fence panels are pressure treated, we would advise not to have the panel touching the ground as this would allow a transfer of moisture from the ground into the panel. I have attached a link to the appropriate gravel board for this product; /Landscaping/Forest_Gravel_Boards_183m_6ft_Long.htm Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701.
