Ecogrid Lawn Edging
I am so pleased that I am extending the area that I am edging into my wildlife garden. The product lays easily, I am an arthritic octogenarian biddy and had few problems with it but it pays to make sure what is underneath before you purchase; I discovered that part of my garden is laid over old buildings just 5 inches deep so I had to drill the pegs into the concrete in places and clip the ends off them in others but it has all worked well despite taking longer than I had anticipated.

FLEXIBLE LAWN EDGING
Great stuff, goes down quickly and beautifully on decent soil, some areas of my garden are very stoney and I had to use a steel pin to clear a path for the pins which are quite long. The pins held the weed control fabric very well, but once bent tended to lose their strength when straightened, If you are using the strips when it's cold be careful bits can break off if you miss hit. I used a small lump hammer to drive the pins into the prepared holes. Scrapping the soil to the correct depth to fit the 45mm strip generated a fair amount of soil, so if you're using the 60mm expect to have quite a surplus. Obviously it depends on the depth of your border around the lawn. Generally it's worth spending time getting the ground level, as the strips slope if it's not. I've only mown the lawn once since fitting and the self finishing edge appeared to work satisfactory. Huge saving buying in bulk and Gardensite were the cheapest I could find.
