Description

With space for two wheelie bins, this Dorset double wheelie bin store lets you easily hide away unsightly bins from view.

High quality and well made, these stores allow you to keep bins out of sight and locked away from children. The handy pull-up top can be tied to the bin lids, so when opened the bin lid also opens.

Made in Dorset, the bin store makes use of sturdy Swedish Redwood which has been pressure treated to resist rot and fungal attack. Re-treatment won't be needed for a good few years, giving you an almost virtually maintenance-free storage area for years to come.

Available to fit two wheelie bins up to 240 litres each, so please ensure that you check your bin size before ordering to make sure that it'll fit in perfectly to its new home.

Due to delivery carrier limitations, we are unable to deliver this product range to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Isle of Wight/Man/Scilly, or to any other offshore island or country.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 5 - 10 working days (1 - 2 weeks) but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.

Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.

Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. Goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

How Will My Store Arrive?
Generally, 3ft - 4ft wide stores will be delivered flat-packed on a pallet or via courier, and 5ft - 6ft wide stores can only be delivered flat-packed via a pallet due to their size. Flat-packed stores are simple to assemble at home and come complete with detailed instructions and ready to assemble sections. Unfortunately, where the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable (think of the empty pallet as free kindling!).

We are really pleased with the quality of this bin store which is excellent value for money. The delivery driver couldn't have been more helpful, we live in a single track lane, and to find a product which is already assembled was a bonus.

Excellent product

I have researched a lot for assembled wheelie bin storage which is quite rare and expensive. It was fantastic to find this item, as I have no patience or time to deal with flat pack deliveries. The customer service and response to emails is good, the item is great and appealing from the front of the property, no more looking at the ugly wheelie bins. Get a lot of curb traffic attention, the only disappointment was the delivery, driver couldn't help move the item which was very straight forward to the location however got there in the end. I would absolutely recommend this item.

Good solid structure

Ordered this after being disappointed from a previous purchase from Rowlinsons. Happy to have paid slightly more (£34) compared to the Rowlinson product for it to be delivered fully assembled as I don't think my marriage would have survived otherwise

Well made and looks good too

Product is fantastic and I would defo recommend I had it pre-assembled - however if you do this please note it is very heavy and delivery driver was v unhelpful and will only drop off at curb so need several people to manoeuvre

Can this wheelie bin be painted? Is it ok to be placed on gravel?

We Replied:

Dear John Thank you for your question. The bin store can be painted, but we would advise leaving it for a month before doing so as the wood is pressure treated and will need a little time for the treatment to be fully absorbed into the wood. As for gravel, this would be fine although it may be a little harder to pull/push your wheelie bins over the gravel than it would be over slabs, so would just be a personal preference. Does this Wheelie Bin Store have a thin strip of steel as a bottom threshold to keep the sides from splaying whilst allowing the bin wheels to roll over them with ease? Does the store have an enclosed rear panel, or is it open to the elements? How wide is each doorway?

Dear Chris Thank you for your question. Yes there is a galvanized steel strip that is 3mm thick to act as a brace but still allow easy access for the wheelie bin.
