Quality playhouse by Halls. Traditionally built substantial structure designed to give years of lasting pleasure to your children. An erection service is available as an option.

The timber used is quality tounge and grooved shiplap 12mm redwood and as standard is supplied with a base coat of spirit based treatment.

Standard features include;
 
  • All our playhouses conform to trading standards BS5665.
  • Glazed with child safety acrylic.
  • Treated with a base coat of oil based high quality medium oak wood preservative, with antifungal treatment.
  • Traditional coach bolt assembly (no pins or staples) with galvanised nails.
  • No OSB and no chipboard, this building is entirely made from tongue and groove highest quality Scandinavian FSC timber.
  • High quality roofing felt.

 Safety Notice. All Playhouses in this range are designed to comply with EN71 and carry the CE mark.
Parents or guardians should however ensure that the buildings are properly erected and lightly sanded before use.
The building should also be carefully inspected to be absolutely sure there are no protruding nails or screws.
Safety features on these buildings include piano style or other safety hinges, magnetic locks, ventilation, acrylic windows, etc.

It is also important, particularly with playhouses that feature an elevated platform to provide a cushioning material such as play bark below and around the building.

Erection Service

The erection service is available throughout mainland England, Wales and Scotland up to Edinburgh and Glasgow. Regrettably the erectors cannot travel further than this although the buildings can be delivered for self-erect to all parts of MAINLAND UK. The erectors must have clear access to the site. They cannot carry buildings through your house or pass them over walls or fences due to insurance limitations. It is your responsibility to provide a suitable base. Treatment Options

 

  Your building is supplied as standard with a spirit based base coat. To ensure a long life you will need to re-treat your building  soon after erection.  Alternatively the manufacturers can pre-treat the building with a high quality top coat finish.

Bearers

 Pressure treated timber bearers are available as an alternative to building a slabbed or concrete base. These are laid in an opposite direction to the floor support timbers on the shed. If you select this option along with erection you must ensure that the ground is level, clear of rubbish and well compacted.
