biOrb 30 Black Aquarium (with Standard LED Light)

Innovative and ground breaking are adjectives not usually applied to aquariums, but that was before the biOrb came along.

The biOrb 30 is the one that broke the mould, the original, and still very popular if you want to keep small tropical fish. 

As with all the others in the range, ceramic media is used to achieve highly effective filtration. Beneficial bacteria thrive on the surface of the media which is the equivalent of a sports pitch, and any excess is trapped in a filter cartridge.

You'll have no problem observing your fish as acrylic is used instead of glass, it's ten times stronger and very clear. There's also a standard low voltage LED that brightly illuminates everything inside the tank.

Operating 24/7, the air pump oxygenates and circulates the water, and the air stone creates a mass of very fine bubbles to keep the aquarium a healthy environment.

Maintaining the biOrb 30 couldn't be easier. Replace the filter cartridge at the base of the tank every month and, at the same time, replace approximately one third of the water. Annually, introduce some fresh ceramic media.
