Presenting the Blagdon Mayfly 750 Preformed Pond, a robust plastic pond that will blend well into your existing environment thanks to its organic, informal shape and natural appearance.

Whatever your reason for installing a preformed pond, the benefits that you'll reap from having water in your garden are copious. With a generous capacity of 750 litres, this model will certainly attract wildlife who will frequent the pond more and more often as the ecosystem and level of biodiversity continue to thrive as the seasons come and go.

Designed to be as user-friendly as possible, this plastic pond comes with marginal shelves that are built into the structure for your convenience. These varying levels of shelves allow for varying planting depths, which is great for plants that prefer shallow water, and they'll soon fall victim to footfall traffic as animals such as toads, frogs and newts use them as pathways to get in and out of the pond when they so please.

The installation is quick and fuss-free: all you have to do is dig a hole and backfill as you gradually add the water, making sure the pond remains 100% level at all times. The pond itself is lightweight, meaning it's easy to pick up and move around should you wish to relocate it at any point.

Sturdy in construction, this pond is made from HDPE plastic that is 3-4mm thick to ensure durability and longevity. If installed and maintained appropriately, it will remain a thriving aquatic habitat for many years.

This model is part of Blagdon's 'Mayfly' collection which is also available in the following sizes: 150250500 and 1000.

Carol Asked:

Can this pond be freestanding with wooden planter type fixing around the exterior, or does it need to be inset in the ground?

We Replied:

Dear Carol Thank you for your question. This pool is designed to be set into the ground, the only way it cab be used as a raised pond would be to build a retaining wall around it and backfill with soil or sand. Should you wish to contact us further or to place an order, please call us on 0121 355 7701. Thank you for using our online Q&A system. Kind regards Dan Everton
