Blagdon Mayfly 1000 Preformed Pond

This preformed plastic pond has been innovatively designed to be as user-friendly as possible. It comes complete with convenient marginal shelves that allow for varying planting depths which is fantastic for plants that prefer to grow in shallow water. These shelves will also be used by visiting wildlife as 'pathways' to get in and out of the water.

This model has a generous capacity of 1000 litres, meaning you can house a wide variety of fish and plants. What's more, with a depth of 60cm, it's deep enough to ensure a safe environment for fish during the cold winter months when they'll be hibernating.

Installation is a quick and easy process - simply dig a hole in the ground, place the pond inside and then backfill with soft sand or sifted soil as you gradually add water. It's essential to ensure that the pond remains 100% level at all times during the installation process.

Sturdily designed with a robust construction made from 3-4mm thick HDPE plastic, this preformed pond will remain a terrific aquatic habitat for many years to come if installed and maintained to an appropriate level.

This model is the largest in Blagdon's 'Mayfly' collection which is also available in the following sizes: 150, 250, 500 and 750.

Please Note:
Ponds are supplied unboxed and are stored outside at our show site. It is normal for slight visual imperfections on the product's surface to be present upon delivery, including dirt and superficial marks. Due to the way they are moulded, pond edges may be subject to creasing during transportation, especially in warm weather conditions. These will settle once installed and do not affect the pond's integrity.
