Description
Similar to its smaller counterpart, the Edinburgh 2 log cabin from Lasita's exceptional range of log cabins sports a larger, elongated footprint allowing for even more ideas when it comes to usage and is also designed to fit snuggly into a corner of your garden with its diagonally installed double doors.
All wooden components of this cabin have been manufactured using only the best, slow grown Nordic Spruce timber for an incredibly durable structure with a more consistent finish when compared to most other timbers. The durability of the cabin is further backed by the manufacturer's guarantee, giving you additional peace of mind.
Both the floor and roof make use of 18mm thick, tongue and groove cladding for ultimate weather resistance and longevity and the walls are made up of 40mm thick Nordic Spruce which is incredibly easy to assemble using the interlocking build style, laid out in detail in the comprehensive instructions provided, giving the cabin a wonderful appearance. Moreover, further adding to the stability of the structure is the use of chalet corner jointing and treated bearers which also serve to enhance the weather-resistant properties of the unit.
Entry to the cabin is granted through large double doors which sport large double glazed windows. These windows in addition to the other 3 full-length, inward opening, double glazed windows, allow masses of natural light to flood into the cabin during the day keeping it well lit until the evening, independent of electricity. Finally, the ridge height of the cabin has been kept under 2.5m in height which is perfect for those living in Britain as 2.5m is the maximum height permitted before you are required to apply for planning permission, however, there are other factors involved so we would always recommend checking with your local authority before commencing assembly.
The roof covering is not included, leaving you with a choice of felt, premium felt or shingles which are available in a variety of colours. Also available is an insulation kit and a painted finish - choose from the options below.

The roof insulation components consist of 25mm foil-backed insulation boards and 11mm OSB boards. The floor insulation components consist of 25mm foil-backed insulation boards.
Note: Screws and nails for your insulation kit are not supplied, as can differ depending on your needs install requirements.

Inclusive Delivery within Mainland England, Wales & Scotland
We offer inclusive delivery on Lasita Maja log cabins and structures within England, Wales and mainland Scotland.
We can deliver to certain non-mainland locations (as deemed by our carrier), however, a surcharge will apply. This includes delivery to:
- Northern Ireland
- Northern Scotland Including KW, IV, AB, PA, FK, KY, EH, ML, G, PH, DD and KA
- Scottish Highlands
- Scottish Islands Including HS1-9, ZE1-3, KA27-28, KW15-17
- Isle of Man and Isle of Wight
- The Channel Islands and Scilly Isles
In all instances please contact us today for a personalised quote if you require delivery to one of our non-mainland stated areas and we will be happy to provide you with our best price to deliver to you.
Unfortunately, due to the large nature of the products, we are unable to ship to the Republic of Ireland or to any other country not stated above.
Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 8 weeks (Please allow a few more days for parts of Scotland) but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 - 8.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
