If you are running out of space at home, the Forest Blakedown 19ft x 13ft log cabin is ideal to add Scandinavian-style to your garden as well as provide more than adequate room for an office, gym, hobby or music room.
The cabin's interior is bright in the summer and warm when winter arrives, a welcoming environment that benefits from a generous amount of double glazing, and you can be sure that the durable slow-grown timber is precision cut.
All the premium quality timber is sustainably grown and kiln-dried to prevent warping. Interlocking 45mm cladding and chalet cut corners mean that the cabin remains stable and 19mm tongue & groove boards are used for the sturdy floor and roof.
Easy to access through wide double doors, the amount of interior space is immediately apparent, large enough to configure to your own requirements with gym or office equipment, or perhaps a table and chairs for entertaining.
The blakedown log cabin boasts robust qualities, a rim lock will offer protection if there are any expensive items that need to be secured, and it's your choice whether to waterproof the roof with green felt shingles or polyester felt.

Wood Preservation
We advise that as the timber supplied for this log cabin is untreated, a wood preservative, stain, or paint is used on the product as soon as possible to increase its durability and waterproofing abilities. Ideally, at least the floor and bearers should be treated with an outdoor wood preservative before installation, as access may be restricted once fully installed.

Installation Services
with Log Cabin Installation (+IN)
If you don't have the time or requisite DIY skills, a home assembly service is available for this log cabin. This nationwide service is conducted by our skilled Forest installation teams at an agreed time that is convenient for you.
Please note that this service is assembly only. It does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings.
Installation Time Frame: The installation will not happen on the day of delivery, a separate date will be arranged prior to the successful delivery of the log cabin.
Home delivery and assembly is excluded in the following postcodes BT, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA, KW PA, PH, PO, TR and ZE.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 4 - 6 weeks (Please allow a few more days for parts of Scotland) but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Installation
If you have purchased an installation service with us, available on selected Forest branded sheds, structures and buildings then this is completed after successful delivery of the product and is generally completed with 2 - 4 weeks following. After successful delivery, you will be contacted directly by the installers to book in an installation date. Please ensure that you have checked the delivery for all components and keep in a safe, dry place until the installation occurs.
Please note that this service is assembly only. It does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings.
Installation/assembly is excluded in the following postcodes BT, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA, KW PA, PH, PO, TR, ZE, and any other offshore islands, highlands, or countries.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
