Description

Strikingly designed with extensive double glazing that creates a bright and warm interior, the cabin is built from top-quality precision cut timber that's been slow grown for durability and kiln-dried to prevent splitting and warping.
Chalet cut corners and interlocking 45mm cladding ensure stability in all weather conditions, and both the floor and fashionable pent roof is made from 19mm tongue & groove boards, so there's no doubting the cabin's robust qualities.
On entering the forest arley log cabin through double doors that open wide, you will immediately appreciate the amount of room there is inside, more than enough for office or gym equipment, or a set of furniture if you are relaxing or entertaining.
You have a choice of polyester felt with or without underlay to waterproof the roof, so the cabin will be dry and welcoming and, if you have any valuable equipment inside the cabin, a rim lock provides security and reassurance.

Wood Preservation
We advise that as the timber supplied for this log cabin is untreated, a wood preservative, stain, or paint is used on the product as soon as possible to increase its durability and waterproofing abilities. Ideally, at least the floor and bearers should be treated with an outdoor wood preservative before installation, as access may be restricted once fully installed.

Installation Services
with Log Cabin Installation (+IN)
If you don't have the time or requisite DIY skills, a home assembly service is available for this log cabin. This nationwide service is conducted by our skilled Forest installation teams at an agreed time that is convenient for you.
Please note that this service is assembly only. It does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings.
Installation Time Frame: The installation will not happen on the day of delivery, a separate date will be arranged prior to the successful delivery of the log cabin.
Home delivery and assembly is excluded in the following postcodes BT, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA, KW PA, PH, PO, TR and ZE.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 4 - 6 weeks (Please allow a few more days for parts of Scotland) but may be extended during busy times of the year. For larger products, the carrier will call and book in a convenient delivery date. For other products, a delivery date will be provided by email from the carrier, which will include a link to allow tracking online.
Installation
If you have purchased an installation service with us, available on selected Forest branded sheds, structures and buildings then this is completed after successful delivery of the product and is generally completed with 2 - 4 weeks following. After successful delivery, you will be contacted directly by the installers to book in an installation date. Please ensure that you have checked the delivery for all components and keep in a safe, dry place until the installation occurs.
Please note that this service is assembly only. It does not include laying bases or disassembling existing buildings.
Installation/assembly is excluded in the following postcodes BT, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA, KW PA, PH, PO, TR, ZE, and any other offshore islands, highlands, or countries.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 7.5 ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.

Please can you confirm what the standard construction time is for this cabin?
We Replied:Dear Scott Reid, Thank you for your question. For the optional paid installation service, this takes 1 full day for the installer team to complete. However, if completing the install on a DIY basis, we would estimate between 2-3 days if completed at around 6-8 hours per day. Of course, this is all very situational depending on DIY knowledge, previous experience, and the number of people involved - which would need to be at least two people.
