Oase FiltoClear 31000 Pressurised Pond Filter

This innovative and patented filter system was designed in Germany by experts in their craft. It makes use of both mechanical and biological filtration to deliver clear and clean water back to your pond day in and day out.

The main bulk of the filtration is carried out by the included filter foams that have been designed to catch varying sizes of debris. You'll receive 2 fine red foams, 2 coarse blue foams and 1 medium graded purple foam all of which are easy to replace and even easier to clean. To clean them, all you need to do is turn the 2-way valve to face the waste outlet (otherwise you'll eject waste back into your pond!) before pulling on the handle located on the top of your pressure filter. This will squeeze the foams to rid them of their sludge.

Another vital aspect of this clever filter system is the use of a 60 Watt UVC (ultraviolet clarifier). This UVC will cleanse your pond's water of green algae and bacteria, providing further cleanliness to your pond. What's more, you don't need to dismantle or turn off your filter in order to clean or even replace your UVC unit.

Both Oase and ourselves highly recommend using the AquaMax Eco Premium 16000 as it sports an ideal flow rate for the unit without causing any damage. However, you are able to use other pond pumps with a maximum flow rate of 17000 LPH. This pump and filter combo can be purchased together as a set.

The outer casing is manufactured using hardwearing and durable plastic which allows you to partially bury your filter near your pond for maximum discretion so as to not alter the aesthetic of your garden. You can disguise your filter even more with the use of a FiltoCap rock cover, which can be added to your order from the options below, this allows your filter to pose as a natural rock!

The returning pipe can be elevated above the ground and as the unit is a pressure filter, this will create a flow of water back to your pond, waterfall or stream. The inlet/outlet/waste outlet of the filter takes 38mm/50mm (1 1/2"/2") pipe which doesn't come supplied, however, the connections (hosetails) and fittings are supplied.
