Oase FiltoClear 19000 Pressurised Pond Filter

Designed in Germany, this pressure filter uses a patented filter system that makes use of both biological and mechanical filtration in the form of filter foam media and ultraviolet clarification (UVC).

You will receive 2 coarse blue foams, 1 medium grade purple foam and 1 red fine foam designed to catch differing sizes of waste particles. They are easy to install and replace and even easier to clean by simply pulling on the handle at the top of the filter. This squeezes the foams cleansing them of their sludge, however, before you do this you should redirect the 2-way valve to the waste output to avoid the waste going back into your pond!

The 42 Watt UVC that comes with your filter is excellent at removing green water/algae and bacteria from your pond water further increasing its clarity and cleanliness. The UVC is easy to replace and clean and what's more, you don't have to dismantle or even turn off your filter to do so.

This unit is best when used with the AquaMax Eco Premium 12000 submersible pond pump as it sports the perfect flow rate for the filter system. Failing this, any pond pump with a maximum flow rate of 13000 will suffice. The pump and filter can be purchased together here as a complete set.

With its sturdy and hardwearing plastic outer casing, you're able to partially bury your filter up to the marked line for optimal discretion so as to not spoil the aesthetic of your garden. Further disguise the filter by using a FiltoCap rock cover which can be added to your order below, disguising your filter as a natural rock! Once buried the return pipe can be elevated to provide a flow-through back to your pond, waterfall or stream using the pressure the pump and filter provide.

The inlet/outlet/waste outlet of the filter takes 38mm/50mm (1 1/2"/2") pipe which doesn't come supplied but the connections (hosetails) and fittings do.
