Description
Ambitious gardeners will quickly discover that the Elite Craftsman 6 x 20ft greenhouse is a superbly appointed structure that is perfectly suited to growing an enviable range of plants.
The single door opens wide and access is made as easy as possible with such a low threshold, this is particularly helpful if you are a wheelchair gardener, carrying tools and other garden equipment or pushing a wheelbarrow.
Only high quality aluminium has been used to build the frame which has high tensile fixings and benefits from an integral base. With proven warp and rot resistance, the greenhouse has a choice of durable powder coated finishes, with the standard silver milled aluminium surface replaced by one of eleven colours.
You'll be immediately aware that the interior is filled with light from the extensive glazing that can be either horticultural or toughened glass, the latter is preferable if you have children playing nearby. The high ridge and eaves mean that you can move freely around the greenhouse and there's enough room to accommodate tomatoes and other tall plants.
Temperature and humidity can be regulated by four roof vents, ventilation is very important in a greenhouse as large as this one so further vents can be added together with a louvre window. You'll also find automatic openers on the accessories' list, so useful for when you are away from home.
Shelving and staging for sowing seed, potting and storage are essential options and there is a wide choice. Guttering is already fitted, so why not fit a rainwater collection kit and water butt? And to add decorative interest as well while ensuring the security of the glazing, there is also colour matched bar capping available.

Option 2 > Choose Your Greenhouse Glass
We offer three different types of glazing: 3mm Horticultural Glass which is pre-selected by default, but you can upgrade to 3mm single sheet Toughened Glass or 6mm Polycarbonate Glazing here.
As Horticultural Glass is included in your frame price it is a NO COST option. The additional cost of Toughened Glass or Polycarbonate Glazing is indicated below.

with 3mm Horticultural Glass
Horticultural 3mm float glass as traditionally used in greenhouses. This is the standard minimum specification and is INCLUDED with your frame choice.
Provided in traditional panes which are supported using overlapping clips. This type of glass isn't recommended if you have children or pets around due to the more fragile nature.
with 3mm Single Sheet Toughened Glass
Toughened to British Standard Class 6206 Grade A and European Standard EN12150 for maximum light and extra safety. All toughened glass models in this range utilise full sheet glass in the roof and side walls. This makes for a much cleaner line with no build up of moss or algae where the sheets of glass would normally overlap.
with 6mm Polycarbonate Glazing
As well as the safety element it is a superb insulator, with the air trapped between the inner and outer skin acting as a mini double glazing unit. This will reduce winter heating costs. To aid growing polycarbonate defracts the sun's rays twice as it passes through the twinwall. This effect disperses the light far more evenly around the greenhouse. Supplied in a full sheet format and offers a more opaque appearance.
Option 3 > Bar Capping?
Bar capping is a continuous strip glazing system used instead of glazing clips, this gives a far neater streamlined appearance and helps to stop rainwater seeping through the glass seams. It's made from PVC and is UV treated for long term weatherproofing.
Please Note: Bar capping is NOT suitable for use with horticultural glass. It is only suitable for use with single sheet toughened and polycarbonate glazing.

Elite's super strength slatted Aluminium or Power-Coated staging can be fitted to any Elite greenhouse through the use of cantilever bracing, which is attached directly onto the greenhouse framework with no visible legs, also keeping clear valuable workspace underneath.
You can have staging down one or both sides of your greenhouse, either to fully fit the sides or just to partially cover.

By adding a shelf or two to your greenhouse, you'll have added workspace areas to store small tools, pots and seedlings. Each set of shelves comes complete with the necessary braces to install them to your Elite greenhouse frame.
Shelving can be installed on both sides of your greenhouse.
Each shelf can be adjusted to any height you require and fit your greenhouse framework with the included diagonal braces.

Elite's aluminium hybrid panels come as a complete set to replace the section of glazing at the bottom of your greenhouse, offering an extremely strong, virtually unbreakable on-impact durability which is great to protect your greenhouse from being hit or knocked with the lawnmower, stones and pets.
If you have chosen standard silver aluminium for your greenhouse frame, then you will need to choose a powder-coated colour for your hybrid frames (hybrid panels are not available in plain silver). Colours available are:
Green, White, Black, Graphite, Brown, Berry, Olive, Stone, Mocha or Navy.
Please let us know your colour choice in the Notes section during checkout.
If you have chosen a powder-coated colour for your greenhouse frame, then the hybrid panels will be colour matched to that colour unless otherwise stated.

with Elite Standard Rainwater Kit
Each standard kit includes two downpipes (with stopper for the opposite end), offering one downpipe for each left and right side of the greenhouse. This allows rainwater to flow out of the two downpipes, and optionally be stored into two water butts (sold separately).
Purchasing two kits will give you four downpipes, one for each corner of your greenhouse, allowing rainwater to be optionally stored into four water butts (sold separately).
with Rainwater Kit to One Gutter Kit
An easy way to combine the integral gutters on your greenhouse roof to a single outlet.
This kit includes pipework that goes along the back of your greenhouse, connecting both sides of the integral roof guttering, then flowing out of one single downpipe.
This means that you will only need one water butt.
You do not require the standard rainwater kit if you opt for this version.

This compact and slim design water barrel offers a rigid moulded plastic design with a capacity of up to 100 litres (22 gallons). Made to complement the rainwater kit, this barrel ensures the collection of rainwater is a simple task, and when raised on the included stand allows for simple access to the incorporated tap.

A 2KW Electrical floor-standing heater that is ideal for smaller greenhouse where space is limited.
Using the separate digital thermostat you can set temperatures in the range of -50°C to + 99°C with an unrivalled output of 2000 W and air circulation rate of 400 m3/h. This ensures that your greenhouse is always maintained at the right level.

Ideal as a frost heater in larger greenhouses or for more

Our standard, inclusive delivery is to the majority of mainland areas: mainland England, Wales and Southern Scotland*

Delivery Timeframe
Delivery will typically be made within the below timeframes, depending on the model:

Bespoke Product Procedure
This product range is made to order on an order-by-order basis, therefore is exempt from our usual cancellation and returns policy. Any cancellations after your order has started production may not be able to be cancelled or may be subject to cancellation charges. Although a very rare occurrence, this does not affect any orders that arrive damaged or faulty, whereby our normal terms on receiving a faulty product will apply.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically a Class II, 15 tonne, 11’4” high, 30’ long and 8’6” wide lorry. This may depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable. Goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.
