Description
A great size for any ambitious gardener who wants to cultivate an enviable number of plants, the Elite Craftsman 6 x 14ft Greenhouse offers a generous amount of growing space that will prove to be highly productive.
The greenhouse frame is solidly made from high quality aluminium, and you needn't be concerned about warping or rotting as it has an integral base to ensure stability and you can choose a powder coating in one of eleven colours to add further durability or retain the standard silver milled finish.
A low threshold is particularly useful if you garden from a wheelchair or want to push a wheelbarrow inside the greenhouse that's filled with light from either horticultural or toughened glazing. A high ridge and eaves also create a spacious interior that is ideal for a wide range of vegetables and decorative plants.
So that temperature and humidity can be controlled and there is a healthy flow of air through the greenhouse, there are three roof vents to which automatic openers can be fitted. Extra vents can be installed and there is also an optional louvre window.
You'll find various other extras such as these on the list of accessories along with a selection of shelving and staging to make sowing seed and potting plants very easy. There's a collection kit in order to recycle rainwater, and bar capping to keep the glazing firmly secured can be colour matched with the frame.

Option 2 > Choose Your Greenhouse Glass
We offer three different types of glazing: 3mm Horticultural Glass which is pre-selected by default, but you can upgrade to 3mm single sheet Toughened Glass or 6mm Polycarbonate Glazing here.
As Horticultural Glass is included in your frame price it is a NO COST option. The additional cost of Toughened Glass or Polycarbonate Glazing is indicated below.

with 3mm Horticultural Glass
Horticultural 3mm float glass as traditionally used in greenhouses. This is the standard minimum specification and is INCLUDED with your frame choice.
Provided in traditional panes which are supported using overlapping clips. This type of glass isn't recommended if you have children or pets around due to the more fragile nature.
with 3mm Single Sheet Toughened Glass
Toughened to British Standard Class 6206 Grade A and European Standard EN12150 for maximum light and extra safety. All toughened glass models in this range utilise full sheet glass in the roof and side walls. This makes for a much cleaner line with no build up of moss or algae where the sheets of glass would normally overlap.
with 6mm Polycarbonate Glazing
As well as the safety element it is a superb insulator, with the air trapped between the inner and outer skin acting as a mini double glazing unit. This will reduce winter heating costs. To aid growing polycarbonate defracts the sun's rays twice as it passes through the twinwall. This effect disperses the light far more evenly around the greenhouse. Supplied in a full sheet format and offers a more opaque appearance.
Option 3 > Bar Capping?
Bar capping is a continuous strip glazing system used instead of glazing clips, this gives a far neater streamlined appearance and helps to stop rainwater seeping through the glass seams. It's made from PVC and is UV treated for long term weatherproofing.
Please Note: Bar capping is NOT suitable for use with horticultural glass. It is only suitable for use with single sheet toughened and polycarbonate glazing.

Accessories > Staging
Elite's super strength slatted Aluminium or Power-Coated staging can be fitted to any Elite greenhouse through the use of cantilever bracing, which is attached directly onto the greenhouse framework with no visible legs, also keeping clear valuable workspace underneath.
You can have staging down one or both sides of your greenhouse, either to fully fit the sides or just to partially cover.

By adding a shelf or two to your greenhouse, you'll have added workspace areas to store small tools, pots and seedlings. Each set of shelves comes complete with the necessary braces to install them to your Elite greenhouse frame.
Shelving can be installed on both sides of your greenhouse.
Each shelf can be adjusted to any height you require and fit your greenhouse framework with the included diagonal braces.

with Elite Standard Rainwater Kit
Each standard kit includes two downpipes (with stopper for the opposite end), offering one downpipe for each left and right side of the greenhouse. This allows rainwater to flow out of the two downpipes, and optionally be stored into two water butts (sold separately).
Purchasing two kits will give you four downpipes, one for each corner of your greenhouse, allowing rainwater to be optionally stored into four water butts (sold separately).
with Rainwater Kit to One Gutter Kit
An easy way to combine the integral gutters on your greenhouse roof to a single outlet.
This kit includes pipework that goes along the back of your greenhouse, connecting both sides of the integral roof guttering, then flowing out of one single downpipe.
This means that you will only need one water butt.
You do not require the standard rainwater kit if you opt for this version.

This compact and slim design water barrel offers a rigid moulded plastic design with a capacity of up to 100 litres (22 gallons). A 2KW Electrical floor-standing heater that is ideal for smaller greenhouse where space is limited.
Using the separate digital thermostat you can set temperatures in the range of -50°C to + 99°C with an unrivalled output of 2000 W and air circulation rate of 400 m3/h. This ensures that your greenhouse is always maintained at the right level.

Ideal as a frost heater in larger greenhouses or for more

Delivery Timeframe
Delivery will typically be made within the below timeframes, depending on the model:

Bespoke Product Procedure
This product range is made to order on an order-by-order basis, therefore is exempt from our usual cancellation and returns policy. Any cancellations after your order has started production may not be able to be cancelled or may be subject to cancellation charges. Although a very rare occurrence, this does not affect any orders that arrive damaged or faulty, whereby our normal terms on receiving a faulty product will apply.
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on larger lorries which can get to most places it's typically, a 15-ton lorry which is about the size of a dustbin lorry, this will depend on the item that is being delivered and should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable. Goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.

Please Note: Some retailers offer non-genuine copies of Elite greenhouse frames or Elite frames along with non-genuine glazing, bases, powder coating, staging and accessories. When purchasing from GardenSite, you are buying 100% genuine and official Elite products including the frame, glazing and accessories. All painted frames are protectively wrapped; all bases are aluminium; all fittings are stainless steel and only high tensile bolts are used.
