Description
Sheds aren't just a repository for junk that no longer qualifies for a place in your home, some such as the Shire Security 6ft x 8ft Shiplap Dip treated Shed are specially designed to protect valuable items.
That means making it difficult for passers-by to see what is actually inside, and this Shire shed achieves that objective by including only narrow windows which are placed high up on one side.
They are fixed and fitted with horticultural glass, and let through just enough light to make sure the interior is not completely dark but deter any casual viewing of the items contained in the shed.
The shed's cladding is 12mm shiplap timber, and similar top quality wood, which has been dip treated to protect against rot and is guaranteed for ten years, is used for the roof and floor.
A rim lock can be used to secure the door and good quality mineral felt waterproofs the roof, all fixtures and fittings are included along with assembly instructions if you do not choose the installation service.

All Shire Garden Buildings are dip treated. Select this option if you wish for your building to have a base coat applied with one coat of Protek Gold Woodstain. Please note that selecting this option may extend your delivery time period slightly to allow for the application of paint to dry.

A matching Shire adjustable base is very easy to assemble and easy to level. The spike system means that the surface you wish your building to go on doesn't have to be even as it will lift the frame and can even manage a slight gradient. The spikes can be driven into the ground on firm soil, grass or even laid on hard ground.

Delivery Period
Delivery will typically be made within 30 working days, but may be extended during busy times of the year.
The designated carrier will contact you in order to book a delivery date from future available delivery dates. From then on, you will receive a tracking link so that you can follow your delivery online, as well as receive text message updates if a mobile phone number is provided during checkout.
Vehicles We Use
Items are usually delivered on a 3.5-ton lorry via a 3rd party carrier. Should you have any concerns with restricted access to your property we ask you to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the large nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location or driveway. We cannot commit to drivers carrying these items inside your home or through to a back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable. Goods can only be maneuvered on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions the driver will split the package to assist with maneuvering of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery.
