Solid bit of kit
Moving lots of things around in the garden and bought this to replace a smaller metal shed we'd had for over 30 years. It all arrived well packed in four separate boxes, one of which contained all the panels and was very heavy to move without help. We had a concrete pad laid to build it on. Like all these buildings, it seemed a bit flimsy until it's all bolted together when it becomes a solid construction that should last for many years based on our last metal shed. The portal frame is quite heavy and the brackets that hold the top spar to the uprights are not strong enough to stop it all bending out of shape, so it will take two people at least to get it installed, and with care to keep it all straight. Once the side and top rails are in place it all stands on its own quite happily. The panels fit well, a few holes for the screws are slightly out of line but nothing major. With the wall panels on, the roof is next and is a bit more tricky. All goes together in the end but the holes to the roof spars were difficult to line up sometime. We bought the translucent panels for the roof and the biggest problem we found was that the metal sheets have angular ridges but the translucent ones are rounded, also some of the holes were an inch or so out. With a bit of fettling it all goes together. Putting the doors on was much easier than expected. We also bought the securing kit which all worked well, the drill bit supplied was up to the job when often they are just cheap and nasty. Overall, very happy, solid watertight shed that is what we expected. Follow the instructions carefully, be prepared to do a bit of fettling to make the odd bit fit and you'll end up with a really good but of kit. Build time for us (we didn't go at it like a bull at a gate) was around 10/12 hours spread over two or three days.
