Concept FoxWatch - Ultrasonic Fox Deterrent

This device will use infrared technology to detect body heat in its area of detection. Once detected, it will emit a burst of ultrasonic sound which will deter the fox. It is both an innovative and humane way of ridding foxes from your property when they are causing a nuisance or otherwise.

The sound emitted is not harmful to any animal, including foxes, it will simply make them retreat. Further, other animals including ourselves will not hear the FoxWatch alarm, so it has been designed specifically for use against foxes although the alarm can sometimes be heard by smaller breeds of dogs.

It works by using the infrared motion detector that monitors an arc of 100 degrees, up to a distance of 12 metres to give total coverage of 125m². The sound that's emitted will travel up to 18 metres.

The high-quality materials used ensure the product is weather resistant and can be used in most weather conditions. It has been tested in temperatures from -20°C to +40°C and will continue to work if water ends up inside, however it should of course not be submerged in water.

The device is powered by a 9V Duracell battery which can last for months, however, there is a mains adaptor that can be purchased from the options below which will save you money in the long run as well as increase the output of the device by 30%. The adaptor boasts 10m of cable for ease of positioning and the length can be extended further using the extension lead.
