Description
The Power 8ft x 6ft Security Apex Shed will be a tremendous asset for any allotment, garden or workplace where valuable tools, equipment and other items need to be kept out of view and under lock and key.
Designed to offer various configuration choices, the shed can be customized to match any location and your personal preferences. Security is provided by a 5 pin cylinder lock containing a 50mm bolt, there's a solid brass escutcheon plate and the lock can be operated from both sides of the door.
It's your choice whether the door is installed on the front or rear of the shed and it can also be hinged on the right or the left. Anti-vandal screws can be exchanged for the ones already fitted and a further option is to have double doors.
The high-grade Scandinavian timber used to construct the shed is renowned for its durability, this is enhanced by a specially formulated preservative during dip treatment. Although the preservative is water-based and it's possible to paint the shed, it contains wax which means that further treatment is not required for a year.
Heavy-duty 44mm x 28mm framing gives the shed impressive strength, and this is augmented by corner braces and panels that are screwed together. The roof, floor and cladding are weatherproof shiplap tongue & groove and the felt that waterproofs the roof is saturated with bitumen and has a polyester lining.
Plenty of headroom is available under the tall apex roof and there are two windows glazed with toughened glass that allow light into the interior. All the hinges and other metalwork are galvanized to resist rust and the shed benefits from a ten-year guarantee against rot and decay.

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver this product range to the Republic of Ireland due to carrier restrictions.
Delivery Period
Our standard delivery timeframe is normally within 3 - 5 working days after your order has been received, and will require the delivery carrier to contact you to book in and confirm the delivery date. If the delivery carrier is unable to contact you via the contact details given, the delivery lead time will naturally be extended.
Please allow an extra few days for parts of Scotland, bank holidays and/or during busy times of the year.
As deliveries can take place anytime between 08:00-18:00, we do not advise organising installation services until you have received your order. We cannot be held liable for consequential losses if this advice is not followed
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on large lorries, in most instances being an 18-tonne lorry. By placing an order with us, you confirm that there is ample access to the delivery location, with no restricted access to your property and space for the lorry to unload your garden building. If the delivery vehicle cannot access the property for the delivery to take place, the order will be placed on hold, and additional charges will be incurred to either re-deliver on a specialist smaller vehicle or for the order to be cancelled and the structure returned, which will also incur a return and cancellation charge.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
