Description
Robust in construction with 10mm thick overlap cladding and heavy-duty framing, the Power 8 x 4 ft overlap apex shed is finished with a secure press lock and key for heightened protection and security.
Built from the finest high-grade timber suitable for a garden shed, this building boasts 10mm thick cladding with an impressively large 40mm overlap to minimise timber movement. All of the sustainably sourced timber is slow-grown which means it is stronger and more resistant to warping, ensuring a longer-lasting product.
Further to the above, all of the shed's panels have been individually submerged (dip-treated) into our special formula wood preserver that contains a wax additive, allowing you to go a full year without having to re-treat the shed. A great benefit of this treatment is that it is water-based, meaning you can paint the shed a different colour if you so wish.
This shed's framing is 28 x 28mm, however, when the panels are joined together with screws, the strength is doubled to 28 x 56mm thick framing. You will also find internal corner bracing that is rounded at each corner for extra rigidity whilst also providing an aesthetically pleasing finish.
The floor and roof are equally as impressive, featuring extra thick 12mm tongue and groove boards (no OSB or chipboard is used). The roof is further supported by a high-performance waterproof felt that comes with a special polyester backing that doesn't rip or tear easily. The felt is saturated with bitumen (asphalt), a protective coating that repels water whilst simultaneously allowing the product to breathe.
Your shed's hinges, door pull and turn buttons are all galvanised to minimise oxidisation by adding a protective layer of zinc to inhibit rust and other damage. This will also provide a tidy appearance that finishes the shed off beautifully.
If you choose to have windows, these will be provided with toughened safety glass as standard and will arrive already internally beaded so that you don't have to fit them yourself.
Lastly, don't forget that this shed is versatile in its configuration, meaning you get to choose exactly where you would like both the door and windows (if applicable) to be positioned. This can be decided as you assemble the shed which will give you that extra element of freedom that will help you to create the perfect shed for your environment.

We offer inclusive delivery within mainland England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland on our Power branded sheds.
Inclusive delivery is to mainland areas only and excludes offshore islands, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man/Wight and Guernsey/Jersey. Delivery to these areas will incur an additional delivery charge quoted upon ordering. In all instances please contact us today for a personalised quote.
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver this product range to the Republic of Ireland due to carrier restrictions.
Delivery Period
Our standard delivery timeframe is normally within 3 - 5 working days after your order has been received, and will require the delivery carrier to contact you to book in and confirm the delivery date. If the delivery carrier is unable to contact you via the contact details given, the delivery lead time will naturally be extended.
Please allow an extra few days for parts of Scotland, bank holidays and/or during busy times of the year.
As deliveries can take place anytime between 08:00-18:00, we do not advise organising installation services until you have received your order. We cannot be held liable for consequential losses if this advice is not followed
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on large lorries, in most instances being an 18-tonne lorry. By placing an order with us, you confirm that there is ample access to the delivery location, with no restricted access to your property and space for the lorry to unload your garden building. If the delivery vehicle cannot access the property for the delivery to take place, the order will be placed on hold, and additional charges will be incurred to either re-deliver on a specialist smaller vehicle or for the order to be cancelled and the structure returned, which will also incur a return and cancellation charge.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
