Description
As it is so large and well-appointed, the Power 8ft x 20ft Security Apex Shed offers exceptional opportunities and can be configured in several different ways to suit your preferences and location.
Although a single door is installed as standard, this can be changed to double doors if you favour the type of access they give you. Other options allow you to enter the shed from the back or front, and to choose on which side the single door is hinged. The hinges are galvanized and rust-resistant and can be secured using anti-vandal screws.
All the valuable tools, equipment and other items there are inside the shed are protected by a 5 pin cylinder lock with a 50mm bolt. It has a solid brass escutcheon plate and you can lock the shed from both sides of the door using the three keys that are supplied.
Only high-grade shiplap tongue & groove Scandinavian timber is used for the attractive weatherproof cladding, hardwearing floor and waterproof roof. This wood is durable and warp-resistant, perfect for an outdoor building. Furthermore, the wood has been dip treated using an advanced preservative so, unless you want to paint the shed, it requires no more attention for at least twelve months.
To prevent tearing and rippling, the bitumen roofing felt has a polyester backing, and the roof is reinforced by regularly spaced trusses to prevent sagging. The high ridge means there's plenty of headroom inside and ten windows glazed with toughened glass are placed high up alongside, this means they allow useful light into the shed while the contents remain out of sight.
A building of this size demands a heavy-duty framework, 44mm x 28mm to be precise, and so that the structure remains rigid even during bad weather and high winds, corner braces are also fixed in place and all the panels are screwed together.
With such top specifications, it is no surprise that the manufacturers offer a ten-year guarantee against decay and rot.

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver this product range to the Republic of Ireland due to carrier restrictions.
Delivery Period
Our standard delivery timeframe is normally within 3 - 5 working days after your order has been received, and will require the delivery carrier to contact you to book in and confirm the delivery date. If the delivery carrier is unable to contact you via the contact details given, the delivery lead time will naturally be extended.
Please allow an extra few days for parts of Scotland, bank holidays and/or during busy times of the year.
As deliveries can take place anytime between 08:00-18:00, we do not advise organising installation services until you have received your order. We cannot be held liable for consequential losses if this advice is not followed
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on large lorries, in most instances being an 18-tonne lorry. By placing an order with us, you confirm that there is ample access to the delivery location, with no restricted access to your property and space for the lorry to unload your garden building. If the delivery vehicle cannot access the property for the delivery to take place, the order will be placed on hold, and additional charges will be incurred to either re-deliver on a specialist smaller vehicle or for the order to be cancelled and the structure returned, which will also incur a return and cancellation charge.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
