Description
With an impressive capacity both in size and potential, the Power 8ft x 18ft Security Apex Shed is a substantial structure that can be configured to match the location and how it is going to be used.
All the contents, whether these are valuable tools, equipment or domestic items, are secured by a 5 pin cylinder lock with a 50mm bolt which can be operated externally and from inside the shed, it has a solid brass escutcheon plate and three keys are supplied.
Heavy-duty 44mm x 28mm framing reinforces the shed while its rigidity is ensured by the presence of corner braces. All panels are screwed together so that their strength is doubled and trusses at regular intervals prevent a sagging roof.
Entering the shed can be through a single door opening to the right or left, that is your choice, or installed at the front or back, again your choice. The hinges are galvanized to prevent rust and can be fitted using anti-vandal screws. A further option is to have double doors if you prefer the access that this particular choice would offer.
High-quality shiplap tongue & groove Scandinavian timber is used for the weatherproof cladding, hardwearing floor and waterproof roof. This wood is grown slowly in a managed forest to become highly durable and warp-resistant, perfect for an outdoor structure.
The timber is also dip treated with an advanced preservative that enhances its natural characteristics, there's no requirement to re-treat the shed in the first year although it can be painted if you prefer.
Felt that has been saturated in bitumen protects the roof, it has a polyester backing that prevents rippling and tearing. Once inside, you'll realize that the high apex roof allows plenty of headroom and, although everything inside remains hidden, eight toughened glass windows high along one side allow useful light into the interior.
Built from top-grade materials to have a long lifespan with many different uses, this security shed is offered with a ten-year guarantee against decay and rot.

We offer inclusive delivery within mainland England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland on our Power branded sheds.
Inclusive delivery is to mainland areas only and excludes offshore islands, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man/Wight and Guernsey/Jersey. Delivery to these areas will incur an additional delivery charge quoted upon ordering. In all instances please contact us today for a personalised quote.
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver this product range to the Republic of Ireland due to carrier restrictions.
Delivery Period
Our standard delivery timeframe is normally within 3 - 5 working days after your order has been received, and will require the delivery carrier to contact you to book in and confirm the delivery date. If the delivery carrier is unable to contact you via the contact details given, the delivery lead time will naturally be extended.
Please allow an extra few days for parts of Scotland, bank holidays and/or during busy times of the year.
As deliveries can take place anytime between 08:00-18:00, we do not advise organising installation services until you have received your order. We cannot be held liable for consequential losses if this advice is not followed
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on large lorries, in most instances being an 18-tonne lorry. By placing an order with us, you confirm that there is ample access to the delivery location, with no restricted access to your property and space for the lorry to unload your garden building. If the delivery vehicle cannot access the property for the delivery to take place, the order will be placed on hold, and additional charges will be incurred to either re-deliver on a specialist smaller vehicle or for the order to be cancelled and the structure returned, which will also incur a return and cancellation charge.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
