Description
There's no doubt that the Power 8ft x 18ft Apex Shed is a substantial structure that has versatile uses, and what makes it different to many other sheds is that it can be configured largely to your own preferences.
It's important to use high-grade wood to construct a building as large as this one, so this means slow grown, sustainably sourced, Scandinavian timber that has great strength and is warp-resistant. Dip treatment in an advanced preservative adds further durability and, although the shed can be painted, it doesn't require any more treatment for another twelve months.
You can choose to have a single or double doors on either end to access the shed. They have a key lock and hinges that can be fitted to the left or the right, these are galvanized so that rust doesn't spoil your shed's appearance or affect their operation.
Another choice concerns whether or not to install glazing along one side. This consists of eight windows with toughened glass and PVC sills to prevent water ingress. The light that fills the interior will be particularly helpful if you are using the shed as a repair space or craft room, but you can always choose to have no windows at all.
All the framing is 44mm, enviably heavy-duty for such a large building with panels that are screwed together to withstand bad weather. The roof is trussed at regular intervals to resist sagging and corner braces ensure rigidity.
The cladding is shiplap tongue & groove as this style is excellent at repelling water as well as having a handsome appearance and, as the roof and floor are similarly made, they are just as strong and hardwearing. A bitumen felt covering waterproofs the roof, this allows it to breathe and has a polyester lining so that it doesn't ripple or tear.
With a ten year guarantee, the shed can be located with a matching base kit on soil, gravel or grass, and 30cm shelving is available in two lengths or can be cut to any size you require.

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver this product range to the Republic of Ireland due to carrier restrictions.
Delivery Period
Our standard delivery timeframe is normally within 3 - 5 working days after your order has been received, and will require the delivery carrier to contact you to book in and confirm the delivery date. If the delivery carrier is unable to contact you via the contact details given, the delivery lead time will naturally be extended.
Please allow an extra few days for parts of Scotland, bank holidays and/or during busy times of the year.
As deliveries can take place anytime between 08:00-18:00, we do not advise organising installation services until you have received your order. We cannot be held liable for consequential losses if this advice is not followed
Vehicles We Use
Items will be delivered on large lorries, in most instances being an 18-tonne lorry. By placing an order with us, you confirm that there is ample access to the delivery location, with no restricted access to your property and space for the lorry to unload your garden building. If the delivery vehicle cannot access the property for the delivery to take place, the order will be placed on hold, and additional charges will be incurred to either re-deliver on a specialist smaller vehicle or for the order to be cancelled and the structure returned, which will also incur a return and cancellation charge.
Unloading Of Your Delivery
Due to the nature of this product, delivery will be made to the front of the property to the nearest location. Our drivers will not carry these items inside your home or back garden. When the item is delivered on a pallet, the pallet and packaging are non-returnable and the goods can only be manoeuvred on a flat and level surface (i.e. not a gravel driveway) by a pallet truck. On some occasions, the driver will split the package to assist with the manoeuvring of the item. Once you are happy, we will ask you to check the condition of the goods and sign for the delivery. Assistance with unloading may be required.
